Nicole L. Simmons
is of counsel at Ballard Spahr LLP. She is a real estate and tribal law attorney who handles a wide range of commercial real estate transactions across the country. Ms. Simmons assists various real estate clients, including publicly traded net-lease REITs, with acquisitions (including sale-leasebacks), dispositions, and lease related matters. She frequently acts as lead counsel on large scale portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, and manages substantial due diligence teams on deals exceeding $100M. Ms. Simmons assists commercial, tribal and energy clients with acquisitions, leases, fee-to-trust transitions, land swaps, federal housing and Economic Development Administration grant-related due diligence, and curatives related to large-scale wind and solar projects across private, state, federal and tribal lands. Her experience includes negotiating and preparing purchase and sale agreements, leases, architectural and other design agreements, easements, restrictive covenants, and other real estate related documentation; assisting energy developers in acquiring, leasing and developing energy projects in Arizona that includes identifying curatives necessary for development, and preparing and negotiating easements, surface use agreements, crossing agreements, and other curatives under state, federal law and tribal law. Ms. Simmons has also provided outside general counsel services to various tribal entities and their Boards that includes advice regarding commercial, real estate, and labor and employment, gaming and general tribal law matters in state, tribal and federal forums across the country. She earned her B.S degree from Arizona State University and her J.D. degree from Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law.

Paul J. LeBlanc, Jr.
is of counsel at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP. He focuses his practice on advising clients in real estate development and finance matters, including purchase and sale transactions, real estate development ventures, commercial leasing, and lending transactions. Earlier in his career, he spent several years exclusively representing lenders in real estate and non-real estate lending transactions, making him uniquely positioned to advise institutional and non-institutional lenders and borrowers in loan transactions. He also draws on his time spent as a litigation associate to analyze legal and client issues, anticipating potential problems before they arise. He earned his B.A degree from University of Texas at Austin and his J.D degree, magna cum laude, from University of Houston Law Center.

Caleb G. Tomaszewski
is an attorney at Erchull Real Estate Group. He earned his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Northern Illinois University and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. During law school, Mr. Tomaszewski had the opportunity to clerk for a local Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge, Waukesha County Corporation Counsel and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. These clerkships provided him with a diverse set of experiences that have translated to a unique and helpful knowledge of property and real estate law. Mr. Tomaszewski is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.

Brian D. O'Keefe
is the founding partner of Lippitt O'Keefe, PLLC, along with Norman L. Lippitt. He supervises the firm's transactional, real estate, business, and personal planning departments. During his more than 35 years as an attorney, Mr. O'Keefe has represented local, regional, and national entities in general business and corporate matters, including formations, financings, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and dissolution. He has been distinguished with the highest ranking of AV by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Mr. O'Keefe is outside general counsel to Realcomp II, Ltd, the largest real estate multi-listing service in the State of Michigan. Over the course of his career, he has been legal counsel in transactions with a cumulative value in excess of $1 billion. Mr. O'Keefe received his B.A. degree, cum laude from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Real Property Law, Business Law, and Taxation sections), Oakland County Bar Association, and American Bar Association (Business Law, Real Estate, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law sections). Mr. O'Keefe is admitted to practice law in Michigan; and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western districts of Michigan, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
