Speaker bio
Renee L. Coppock
is a partner with Crowley Fleck PLLP, in the Billings office. She has practiced in the areas of agricultural law, water law, real estate transactions, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, entity formation and environmental law since joining the firm in 1987. Ms. Coppock has substantial experience representing landowners in complex real estate transactions. Her practice also includes commercial litigation in the Northern Cheyenne, Fort Belknap, and the Crow Tribal courts, as well as working with governmental and private entities on farm and ranch benefits and entitlements, water permitting, water court adjudication, land acquisitions, trades, and conservation easements. She has been on the faculty at Rocky Mountain College for paralegal studies and the Land Trust Alliance's annual National Land Trust Rally. Ms. Coppock has written chapters in the Montana Environmental Law Handbook and has also presented seminars on real estate transactions, water law, conservation easements, environmental law, land surveys, bankruptcy, and collections. She earned her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Coppock worked as a teaching assistant in Agricultural Law. Prior to law school, she earned her B.S. degree, in business administration and marketing, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois. Ms. Coppock is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Montana, and the Yellowstone Area Bar Association.

is an attorney at Snyder, Beaudry & Cook. He focuses his practice on real estate law, estate planning, and business law. Mr. Beaudry earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Montana and his J.D. degree from the University of Montana School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Montana.

Ernest H. Kohlmyer, III
is a shareholder with Zimmerman, Kiser & Sutcliffe, P.A. With nearly 30 years in the legal profession, Mr. Kohlmyer leads a broad commercial practice, focusing on defending corporations and individuals in federal and state courts. His extensive experience in commercial litigation involves complex contract disputes, legal and regulatory compliance, and consumer protection matters. Mr. Kohlmyer is notably recognized for his work on cases involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), including serving as appellate counsel for two landmark TCPA decisions in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Kohlmyer is licensed in six states and represents clients in Florida, Georgia, New York, and the western states of Utah, Montana, and Wyoming. He provides comprehensive legal guidance on commercial disputes, real estate, land use, and international business law. Mr. Kohlmyer earned his LL.M. in global antitrust and economics from George Mason University, LL.M. in transnational commercial practice from Lazarski University, and J.D. degree from University of Dayton School of Law.

Jessica P. Hodges
is of counsel with the Billings office of Holland & Hart LLP. She approaches her clients' real estate and business needs with a tailored, solutions-oriented approach to deliver effective legal solutions that support their goals. Ms. Hodges represents clients in real estate matters, such as construction, development, purchase and sale agreements, liens, covenants, financing, and easement-related issues. She assists clients in commercial transactions, including review and development of construction agreements, asset purchase agreements, commercial leases, organizational documents, and shareholder agreements. Before joining Holland & Hart, Ms. Hodges managed a solo practice where she represented clients on business, commercial, consumer, bankruptcy, real estate, and construction matters, including complex litigation and transactional work. Her litigation background is invaluable in her navigation of transactional work for her clients in an effort to try to avoid later disputes. Ms. Hodges earned her B.A. degree from Montana State University and her J.D. degree from University of Montana School of Law.

Vijay Madduri
is an attorney at Munson, McMillin, Madduri, & Williams, PC. He has handled a wide range of transactional projects across several industries including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, business formation and consulting, general corporate and business governance, business contracts, commercial lending and project finance. In oil and gas, Mr. Madduri represents clients in acquisition and sale agreements, participation, development and leasing transactions, title examination, drilling and operating agreements, gathering, transportation and pipeline easement agreements, and product purchase, sale and processing agreements. He maintains a very active oil and gas title examination practice and has rendered numerous types of opinions covering a wide variety of title issues. Mr. Madduri earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, Montana Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, Tulsa Association of Professional Landmen, American Association of Professional Landmen, and Oklahoma Bar Association Energy and Natural Resources Section. Mr. Madduri is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and Montana.

Michael J. McMillin
serves as president of Munson, McMillin, Madduri, & Williams, PC. He is the practice leader for the firm's Oil and Gas Titles and Transactions section and the Real Estate section. Mr. McMillin's practice includes rendering oil and gas and surface title opinions, obtaining title curative, and negotiating contracts used in the oil and gas and real estate industry. He has also represented clients in resolution of disputes involving a wide range of oil and gas, real estate, and commercial matters. While in law school, Mr. McMillin served as the resource editor of the Oklahoma City University Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and before the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern districts of Oklahoma.
