Michael G. Zapson
is a partner at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman LLP. He concentrates his practice in trusts and estates, and trust and estate litigation. Mr. Zapson also maintains a real estate zoning and land use practice. He represents executors, trustees, real property owners, national companies, REITs lenders and brokers. Mr. Zapson is a member of the Bar Association of the City of New York, Nassau County Bar Association and Long Beach Lawyers Association. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Damianos Markou
is an attorney with Capell Barnett Matalon & Schoenfeld, LLP where he practices trusts and estates law, concentrating his practice in trust and estates litigation proceedings in the New York State Surrogate's Courts. Mr. Markou has extensive experience and has successfully represented individual and corporate clients in a variety of Surrogate's Court proceedings including will contests, contested accountings, discovery proceedings, reverse discovery proceedings, construction proceedings, right of election proceedings, guardianships, administration proceedings and other miscellaneous Surrogate's Court proceedings. He has represented individual and corporate clients in the administration of estates and trusts and has successfully represented and defended clients' estate tax filings before the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Commissioner of Taxation and Finance. Mr. Markou is also involved in estate planning and the drafting of wills and trusts for his clients. While in law school, he enrolled in a summer law program in Moscow State University, in Moscow, Russia where he studied the Russian legal system in transition and the Russian language. After law school, Mr. Markou began his career as an attorney with a firm who had acted as counsel to the public administrator of Queens County, New York representing clients in all aspects of complex Surrogate's Court proceedings.

is a partner with Capell Barnett Matalon & Schoenfeld LLP, where he practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, elder law, and not-for-profit and religious corporations law. Mr. Matalon also represents executors and trustees to navigate the complex federal and state laws impacting estates and trusts. He earned his B.A. degree from Skidmore College and his J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law.

Steven H. Holinstat
is a partner at Proskauer Rose LLP in the Litigation Department, and is the head of the fiduciary litigation group. Over the past two decades, he has handled complex, high-profile litigations that have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries. Mr. Holinstat has a broad and diverse background in all aspects of high-stakes commercial litigation, with a focus on all aspects of fiduciary litigation, including litigation involving real estate and closely-held business assets of the type typically held by our high-net worth clients. He is the lead litigator in a number of high-net-worth trust and estate matters, and has developed a reputation for being adept at intervening and resolving challenging interfamily disputes before they escalate into full-blown litigation. Mr. Holinstat earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from University of Michigan and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law.

Jonathan M. Pollack
is a counsel attorney in Offit Kurman, Attorney At Law's estates and trusts practice group. Mr. Pollack focuses his practice on estate planning, and trust and estate administration. He works closely with his clients to understand their unique needs and goals, tailoring their estate plans to minimize taxes as well as protect and preserve their assets for future generations. Mr. Pollack is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York. He earned his bachelor's degree from Binghamton University and his Juris Doctorate from the University at Buffalo School of Law. Mr. Pollack is also a student mentor at his alma mater, guiding law students as they begin their careers.

Lisa Fenech
is of principal at Offit Kurman, Attorneys At Law. Her practice focuses on estates and trusts litigation, probate and estate administration, and elder law litigation. This includes contested and uncontested probate and administration proceedings, contested and uncontested Article 81 proceedings, power of attorney litigation, contested estates and trusts accounting proceedings, and various other complex disputes between beneficiaries and fiduciaries. She regularly receives appointments from the New York State Supreme Court to serve as court evaluator and court-appointed counsel in Article 81 proceedings. Ms. Fenech is also frequently appointed by the Surrogate's Courts to serve as Guardian Ad Litem in probate, accounting, wrongful death, and various other proceedings. These appointments allow her to advocate for vulnerable individuals who are unable protect their own rights. She earned her A.S degree from Florida Keys Community College, her B.A degree cum laude from Adelphi University and her J.D degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.

is a partner with the law firm of Capell Barentt Matalon & Schoenfeld LLP. He practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning, estate administration and corporate law. Mr. Olson assists individuals and families by developing efficient estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax plans. He also focuses on business formation and structuring, as well as business succession, interweaving estate, tax and business planning strategies and techniques, and advises clients in financial transactions from a business and tax perspective, including business sales, purchases and reorganizations. Mr. Olson completed his LL.M in Taxation at New York University School of Law. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he received honors in the Corporate Law concentration. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College.
