Speaker bio
Cameron Cutler
is a partner with Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on complex business and ownership disputes. He regularly represents businesses and individuals in matters involving disputes between co-owners of corporations and limited liability companies, including business divorce litigation. Mr. Cutler’s practice also includes claims involving breaches of restrictive covenants, such as non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, as well as trade secret misappropriation. He has extensive experience in employment litigation, land use and real property litigation, handling disputes involving property boundaries, easements, building restrictions, and property tax assessments. In addition to his trial work, he leads the appellate practice in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, managing all aspects of appeals – from briefing to oral argument – before state and federal appellate courts. Mr. Cutler also advises companies on a range of corporate, employment, and regulatory compliance matters, including those arising under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). He earned his B.S. degree (public relations), Outstanding Graduate from Utah State University, his J.D. degree, (William H. Leary Scholar, CALI Award: Commercial Law, Family Law, Religion and the First Amendment, Sports Law, Utah Law Review, Note and Comment Editor) from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. Mr. Cutler is a member of the Utah State Bar and California State Bar. He is admitted to practice in Utah; California; Supreme Court of California; Supreme Court of Utah; United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; United States Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit; United States District Court, District of Colorado; United States District Court, District of Utah; United States District Court, Eastern District of California; and the United States District Court, Northern District of California.

Darcy M. Goddard
is a shareholder with Strong & Hanni practicing in the areas of arbitration/mediation, government liability, governmental entity defense, labor and employment law. She is an experienced litigator, court-rostered mediator and strategist. At Strong & Hanni, Ms. Goddard co-chairs the firm's government practice group and is a member of the firm's diversity committee. In addition to her active litigation and mediation practices, she provides training to public and private sector entities on a wide range of topics, including litigation skills, ethics, HR investigations, the First Amendment, and GRAMA. Ms. Goddard graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Smith College with a degree in government and ethics, and earned her J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She was a notes editor on the Virginia Law Review, and a restaurant and movie reviewer for the student paper. Ms. Goddard is a member of the Utah Supreme Court Ethics and Discipline Committee, Aldon J. Anderson Inn of Court, Chair, two-year Legislative Interim Committee addressing mental health and substance use treatment for incarcerated individuals, 2018-2019, Women Lawyers of Utah, Salt Lake County Bar Association, Utah State Bar Litigation Section and Utah State Bar Government and Administrative Law Section. She is admitted to practice in Utah, New York, and Colorado; and is a member of the bars of the Supreme Court of the United States and the Second, Third, Fourth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuit courts of Appeal.

is the founder of Chapman Legal, where he represents employees and advises employers on federal and state employment law matters. He helps clients resolve workplace disputes, negotiate employment-related agreements, and navigate complex legal obligations with practical, business-minded guidance. In addition to his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, Drew earned a Master of Dispute Resolution, reflecting his commitment to efficient, strategic dispute prevention and resolution.

D. Scott Crook
is a founding member and the managing partner of Crook Legal Group PLLC, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of employment and labor, commercial litigation, appellate practice, land use, and water law. He is a member of both the Utah and Idaho state bars and has extensive experience in both states. Mr. Crook has spoken on or written articles about employment issues, local government law, boundary law, road and access law, jury selection, law firm management, and appellate practice. He is a member of the Utah State Bar; Employment and Labor Section, Litigation Section, Solo Small Firm & Rural Practice Section, and Appellate Practice Section. Mr. Crook earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Weber State and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University - J. Reuben Clark Law School.
