Colin M. Quinn
is of counsel with Stinson LLP, where he practices in the area of construction law. He reviews, drafts and negotiates project agreements and advises clients facing litigation, and assists in dispute resolution. Mr. Quinn is a member of the Kansas Bar Association and The Missouri Bar. He earned his B.S. degree from Kansas State University and his J.D. degree from Washburn University School of Law.

Lucas J. Ude
is a trial lawyer that concentrates his trial practice in defending his clients in high stakes and complex class actions, construction litigation, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith litigation. He has successfully defended clients in lawsuits throughout Missouri, Illinois and Kansas and successfully represented clients in the filing of Declaratory Judgments and Interpleader actions to obtain timely resolutions of contested coverage and damage issues. The foundation of Mr. Ude's success is his thorough preparation and straight forward approach both in the court room and in recognizing and briefing dispositive legal issues involved in complex litigation. He earned his B.S. degree Southern Illinois University and J.D. degree, cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law.

Lee B. Brumitt
is a director and shareholder with the law firm of Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Brumitt, P.C, where he has practiced law since 1984. His law practice focuses on construction law and litigation. Mr. Brumitt is a regular advocate for general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and specialty contractors, and also represents owners and design professionals on public, commercial and residential projects. He reviews and advises on construction contracts, consults with contractors on legal issues arising during projects, and is involved in all varieties of construction claims including, but not limited to defect, contract performance, mechanic's lien, bond, retainage, prompt payment, and change order claims. Mr. Brummit earned his B.S. degree from Central Methodist College and his J.D. degree from Drake University.

James F. Freeman, III
is an attorney with Swanson Bernard, LLC where he practices in the areas of construction, land use, church, commercial litigation, business, contract, employment, probate litigation, appellate practice, transportation and corporate law. He is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the districts of Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Freeman is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan, Kansas and American bar associations, as well as The Missouri Bar. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Served as the Mayor pro of the 5th largest city in his state and served on the board of directors for his state's municipal league.

Jason L. Buchanan
is a shareholder with McDowell, Rice, Smith & Buchanan, where he practices in all areas of civil litigation, with an emphasis on complex civil litigation. He represents clients in construction, contract and other commercial disputes. Mr. Buchanan has appeared in cases filed in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, Nevada, Montana, Arkansas, Illinois and Colorado. He also has appellate experience in both state and federal courts. Mr. Buchanan is licensed to practice in Kansas, Missouri and Colorado, as well as before the U.S. District Court for Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. He is a member of the American, Kansas (Construction Section), Missouri, Johnson County and Kansas City Metropolitan bar associations, as well as the American Association for Justice, the Kansas Association for Justice, the Earl O'Connor Inn and the American Inns of Court. Mr. Buchanan earned his B.A. degree from the University of Kansas and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University.
