Gary A. Laurie
is the founder of a full-service entertainment and intellectual property law firm. For over 15 years, the firm has been protecting and enforcing its client's intellectual property rights as well as negotiating content deals on both the production and talent side of the table. With a focus on entertainment, intellectual property, and corporate matters, the firm is in a position to offer a full range of services to artists, businesses and individuals. The firm's intellectual property practice provides a complete range of transactional services for domestic and international companies. In addition to registering trademarks and copyrights throughout the United States and abroad, the firm assists clients in exploiting their intellectual property rights as well as counsels clients concerning the validity and valuation of intellectual property. Mr. Laurie is a past chair of the Entertainment Arts and Sports Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He also teaches courses in contract, business and entertainment law at Montclair State University, as well as music business law at New Jersey City University. Mr. Laurie is a frequent lecturer on entertainment and intellectual property topics and provides volunteer services for the Pro Bono Partnership. He earned his bachelor's degree from Montclair State University and his J.D. degree from Seton Hall University.

Cari L. Sheehan
is an assistant general counsel with Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP with over 15 years of legal experience in civil litigation, conflicts of interest, and professional responsibility. In this role, she advises firm attorneys with respect to ethics compliance, risk prevention, and conflicts of interest. In addition, Ms. Sheehan assists in the review and negotiation of outside counsel guidelines, conflict waivers and engagement letters, and other items with ethical implications. She assists in providing ethical training and education within the firm to its attorneys and staff. Ms. Sheehan is an adjunct professor at the IU Robert H. McKinney School where she teaches professional responsibility. She is also a former assistant clinical professor of business law and ethics at the Kelley School of Business. Ms. Sheehan is passionate about promoting ethical awareness, integrity, and professionalism in the legal and business fields, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in these domains. She is a frequent presenter and author on ethics and professionalism in the legal industry. Ms. Sheehan is a recurring author with the Res Gestae, the Indiana State Bar Association's member journal, regarding the ethics curbstone; and has been quoted in publications for her knowledge on ethical topics. She is also an avid speaker, having given over 200 seminars on ethics and professionalism for various local and national platforms. Ms. Sheehan's primary area of research is regarding the ethics of AI and how it affects the legal and business community.

Kyle M. Lawrence
is a partner with Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP's corporate and securities practice group, and with the digital assets practice group. His practice is focused on corporate and private securities matters, serving clients as lead counsel on all types of corporate transactions including private placements, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, planning and strategies, licensing, manufacturing, supply, and distribution arrangements. Mr. Lawrence provides dedicated hands-on personal support to clients from negotiation to closing and beyond. In mergers and acquisitions transactions, he has regularly represented both buyers and sellers of businesses. Over the past 15 years, he has successfully closed numerous deals with business owners selling their businesses to strategic buyers, private equity funds, and private equity-backed strategic buyers both domestically and internationally. With respect to securities offering and financing transactions, Mr. Lawrence has significant experience representing both issuers and founders on the one hand, and investors on the other hand, giving him years of experience related to private securities offerings, venture capital, and similar startup financings, and FINRA and SEC regulatory issues. As part of the firm's digital assets practice group, his practice has expanded to include advising companies on blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, and NFT matters, with a focus on how the corporate and securities matters affect these types of projects. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, political science and English from Tulane University and his J.D. degree from Hofstra University. Mr. Lawrence is admitted to practice in New York.

Aleksandra (Sasha) V. Phillips
serves as counsel in Dentons Cohen & Grigsby's corporate practice group. Her international background and unyielding commitment to excellence allow her to serve her clients in a wide range of domestic and foreign matters. Ms. Phillips regularly works with clients in the manufacturing, robotics, health care, construction, energy, art, and financial services industries. She assists them in a wide range of cases including sanctions compliance, import and export control, DOJ investigations, consumer protection, shareholder actions, data security, contractual disputes, fraud, FCPA, IP, cross-border disputes, and international trade. Ms. Phillips earned her B.F.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Shepherd University; her J.D. degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Law; and her Master of Liberal Arts degree from Harvard University Extension School.

Elizabeth E. Schlissel
is a partner with Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP, and head of the Labor and Employment Department representing clients in employment litigation, investigation, regulation, and other aspects of employment law. She represents companies in all types of employment litigation in state and federal court including wage and hour matters, discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, breach of employment contracts and restrictive covenants, and failure to accommodate disabilities. Ms. Schlissel regularly represents employers in discrimination matters filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, and New York City Commission on Human Rights. She also advises and defends businesses in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) lawsuits regarding premises and websites. Ms. Schlissel counsels employers, management teams, and HR executives regarding compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Counseling includes advising clients on a daily basis regarding personnel issues, wage and hour compliance, and preventing, investigating and responding to discrimination and sexual harassment complaints. In addition, she regularly works with employers to draft, review, and update employee handbooks and policies. Ms. Schlissel earned her J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law.

is a partner at the Maryland law firm of Jensen & McComas, LLC. He concentrates on assisting entrepreneurs, investors and companies of all sizes in acquiring, financing, commercializing and protection emerging technology. Mr. McComas represents companies on complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisition, strategic alliances, financings, venture-capital investments, management and disposition of emerging technology, and general corporate matters. He earned his B.A. degree from Brown University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Mr. McComas is a speaker and panelist at many forums for business, technology and industry professionals and has written and testified extensively on policies and business involving the convergence of technology, business and law. He is a frequent business and technology law columnist for publications such as the Legal Times, National Law Journal, Baltimore Business Journal, The Daily Record and Washington Business Journal, among others.
