Speaker bio
Kenneth J. Mastroni
is with Milano & Wanat LLC, after ten years serving as a senior trial attorney with Nationwide Insurance Trial Division from 2014 to 202, where he was a member of the trucking litigation team, the large loss unit and the commercial lines litigation team. He has over 30 jury cases to verdict including over ten to verdict in the U.S. District Court. Prior to, Mr. Mastroni earned his B.A. degree from Fairfield University in 1986 and his J.D. degree from Western New England University School of Law in 1989. He is admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut, U.S. District Court District of Connecticut and the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mastroni has appeared before the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, Connecticut Supreme Court and Connecticut Appellate Court. He has served as deputy corporation counsel for the City of New Haven from 1996 to 1998 handling 42 U.S.C. 1983 litigation. He was a senior trial attorney with CNA Insurance staff counsel from 2004 to 2014, where he handled nursing home and dental malpractice litigation. Representative clients over the years have included McDonald's Corporation, Burger King Corporation, Dunkin Donuts and Mystic Aquarium. Mr. Mastroni's areas of practice focus on trial and appellate practice in personal injury, malpractice, municipal liability and product liability cases.
