Nora Gieg Chatha
joined Inspire Trust Company as Business Development Director — a role that is central to how Inspire connect our fiduciary services with the individuals and families who need them most. In her role, Ms. Gieg Chatha educates individuals who have experienced a life-altering injury, loss, or medical event — along with their loved ones and professional advisory teams — on Inspire Trust's fiduciary offerings and how they can be tailored to meet each client's unique needs. She brings an extraordinary depth of experience to ITC. Prior to joining us, Ms. Gieg Chatha spent nearly 20 years in private practice, representing corporate fiduciaries, families, and professional teams across all areas of estate, trust, public benefits, capacity, guardianship, and settlement planning and administration. She also served as legal counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, one of the largest state Medicaid agencies in the country — an experience that gives her rare insight into the intersection of fiduciary duties and public benefits. Ms. Gieg Chatha is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a Certified Elder Law Attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, and her J.D., with a community service award, from the University of Pittsburgh. Her professional commitments extend well beyond her day-to-day work. Ms. Gieg Chatha serves on the council for the Allegheny County Bar Association's Probate and Trust Section, contributes as a research assistant for Pennsylvania's Joint State Government Commission on Decedents' Estates and Trusts, and is a frequent speaker and volunteer for a wide range of professional and community organizations.
