Mr. Dorobantu attended the University of Tennessee - Knoxville where he obtained his B.A. in political science with an English minor. He then went on to the University of South Carolina School of Law where he earned his J.D. degree. Since graduating law school Mr. Dorobantu has worked primarily in the field of estate planning, asset protection and wealth transfer. He spent three years working at a boutique estate planning firm in downtown Charleston before opening Lowcountry Legacy Law Firm in 2015. Mr. Dorobantu serves on the Board of Trustees for the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Foundation, has served as the assistant head coach and the head boy's lacrosse coach at Beaufort High School from 2016 - 2021, and is a graduate of the 2016-17 class of Leadership Beaufort. Mr. Dorobantu is also an elite member of Certified Guaranty Company and has been a comic book collector for over 25 years.
