Kathleen M. Erickson
is a partner with the law firm of O'Neill McFadden & Willett. She focuses her practice on a wide range of civil litigation defense and has extensive experience handling medical malpractice and healthcare defense matters. Ms. Erickson works with her clients through all phases of litigation, including investigation, motion practice, written and oral discovery, and trial. She represents hospitals and individual health care providers before medical review panels, in court and on appeal. Ms. Erickson earned her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and her J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. She is a member of the Lake County Indiana Bar Association.

Eddy Salcedo
is of senior counsel at Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He has extensive experience in such cross-disciplinary disputes, having successfully represented a wide range of clients in construction, partnership, trade secret, restrictive covenant, contract enforcement, and shareholder disputes. Mr. Salcedo began his practice in intellectual property, before moving on to representing complex real estate and construction clients in varied disputes, both in trial and appellate capacity. He then joined Seyfarth and further broadened his knowledge and experience base to include servicing the needs of financial institutions, insurance carriers, retail businesses, and manufacturers. Mr. Salcedo earned his B.A. degree from New York University and his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law.

James K. Weston, II
is a board-certified civil trial lawyer at Phelan Tucker Law, LLP, in Iowa City, Iowa. He has been a practicing trial lawyer since graduating from law school in 1996. Mr. Weston practices in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, professional negligence/malpractice, commercial litigation and general civil litigation. In addition to his trial practice, he regularly speaks to lawyers' groups on litigation and trial issues, insurance law, and other subjects. Mr. Weston earned his B.A. degree from the University of Iowa and his J.D. degree from Drake University School of Law. He is a fellow of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Gary W. Boyle
is the founder of Boyle Law Office in Santa Fe, where his practice is focused in corporate law, family law and litigation. He currently serves as the virtual general counsel for ADL High Voltage, Inc. (Texas), EnergyComNetwork, Inc. d/b/a PayGo Utilities (Georgia), and Flask, Inc. (New Mexico). Mr. Boyle maintains an active litigation practice in New Mexico emphasizing family law. He is licensed to practice in the state courts of New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma, and in various federal courts including the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Boyle earned his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law.

Gerald E. Castillo
is a partner at Serpe | Andrews. He has represented individual and corporate clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, including wrongful death, personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, health care liability, commercial litigation, and employment law. Mr. Castillo's other areas of practice include general litigation and professional injury, covering all phases of the defense from pre-suit claim handling through trial and appeal. He has tried cases to verdict both as a first and second chair and has arbitrated matters before the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Mr. Castillo has significant experience in representing individuals and entities in health care liability, medical malpractice, employment, and contractual matters. He has also represented and assisted Hospital Medical Executive Committees (MEC) with internal investigations and subsequent fair hearings related to MEC recommendations. Because of this, Mr. Castillo has been a frequent lecturer and presenter to hospital organizations on topics of HIPPA compliance, peer review, ethical considerations, end of life Issues, medical record maintenance, and nursing documentation. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from University of Dallas and his J.D, degree from University of Texas School of Law.
