Speaker bio
Alex J. Whitt
is an attorney at FactorLaw/Law Office of William J. Factor, Ltd. He specializes in representing debtors in complex Chapter 7, 13, and 11 matters, as well as representing Chapter 7 trustees. With nine years of experience, Mr. Whitt has successfully represented clients across an array of bankruptcy matters. He graduated in the top 10 of his class from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly the John Marshall Law School). While in law school, Mr. Whitt served as staff editor for the Law Review Journal and as a judicial extern for then Chief Bankruptcy Judge Bruce W. Black. He has also served as the co-chair for the Chicago Bar Association's Young Lawyers' Bankruptcy & Reorganization committee.
