Samuel J. Brady
is an associate with Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP's taxation group. He focuses his practice on taxation as it relates to real estate, Section 1031 and 1033 exchanges, quality opportunity zone investments, qualified real estate professional issues, and corporate and partnership reorganizations. Mr. Brady's tax controversy practice includes representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, New York City Department of Finance, and North Carolina Department of Revenue. While in law school, he participated in the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where he assisted in the representation of clients before the North Carolina Department of Revenue and the IRS. Mr. Brady was also the symposium editor of the Wake Forest University School of Law Journal of Law & Policy.

Bridget M. Kelly
is an attorney at Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP, where she currently devotes her full attention to the firm's estate litigation practice group. She assists the estate litigation practice group with all aspects of Surrogate's Court matters, including but not limited to document drafting, court appearances, discovery production and review, settlement conferences or mediation sessions, motion paper drafting, and examinations. Ms. Kelly earned her Bachelor of Finance degree at the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. degree from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She is admitted to practice law in New York.

Matthew E. Rappaport
chairs Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP's taxation and private client groups. He concentrates his practice in taxation as it relates to real estate, closely held businesses, private equity funds, family offices, and trusts and estates. Mr. Rappaport advises clients regarding tax planning, structuring and compliance for commercial real estate projects, all stages of the business life cycle, generational wealth transfer, family business succession, and executive compensation. He also collaborates with other attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, bankers, and insurance professionals when they encounter matters requiring a threshold level of tax law expertise. Mr. Rappaport earned his J.D. degree and his Master of Laws in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member and admitted to practice in the state of New York and the U.S. Tax Court.

Michael T. Brockbank
is a sole practitioner in Schenectady, New York, where his practice is concentrated in the areas of wills, trusts and estates. He is the former chief clerk of Schenectady County Surrogate's Court, and former president of the NYS Surrogate Court Chief Clerk's Association. Mr. Brockbank is a former adjunct professor for the State University of New York-Albany. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from the Albany Law School of Union University. Mr. Brockbank is a member of the New York State and Schenectady County bar associations.

Mr. MacDonald is a member of the Dutchess County, New York State and American bar associations. is a partner at Verrill Dana LLP. He focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and tax planning. Mr. Buschman also advises fiduciaries and individuals on all aspects of trust and estate administration and limiting tax exposure, including the preparation of sophisticated estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and fiduciary and individual income tax returns. He received his B.A. degree from City University of New York/Hunter College, his MAT from Manhattanville College and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School. Mr. Buschman is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Fairfield County, CT; Fairfield County Bar Association; Connecticut Bar Association; Westchester County Bar Association; and New York State Bar Association.
