Casey S. Erick
is a partner with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and a member of the Labor & Employment practice. He focuses on commercial litigation and employment law. Mr. Erick has represented clients in both litigation and transactional matters that span across commercial law, labor and employment, real estate, consumer protection, and general litigation; including, but not limited to breach of contract, corporate trade secret theft, tortious interference, defamation, personal injury, fraud, and various other kinds of civil litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association, and is board-certified in civil trial law. Mr. Erick earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. degree from Baylor School of Law.

Christopher C. Russell
is a partner in the law firm of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. He practices in the fields of labor and employment, and workers' compensation, representing various companies before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Mr. Russell has been certified as one of the state of Ohio's first specialists in the field of workers' compensation by the Ohio State Bar Association. A substantial portion of his practice also involves labor arbitrations, employment litigation, and workplace safety issues. Mr. Russell is a member of the Ohio State, Columbus and American bar associations. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Kenyon College and his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University College of Law.

Nicholas S. Ruble
is a civil litigation defense attorney at Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice LLC. He represents companies of all sizes and industries in employment and labor, personal injury, creditor's rights, and commercial disputes at all stages of litigation or alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Ruble earned his B.A. degree from William Jewell College and his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He is co-chair for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) Labor & Employment Law Committee, Steering Committee member, ALFA International's Labor & Employment Practice Group, and a member of DRI's Employment and Labor Law Committee. Mr. Ruble is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and before the U.S. District Courts, Western District of Missouri; Western District of Missouri Bankruptcy, District of Kansas, and District of Kansas Bankruptcy.

Sarah N. Turner
is a partner with the employment/labor, ERISA/life, health and disability, and cannabis, hemp and CBD practice groups; and is a co-managing partner of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP's Seattle office. Her employment and labor practice focuses on employers, and includes a hybrid of counseling and litigation. Ms. Turner is an experienced litigator who has represented and defended employers in matters involving claims for wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, privacy, defamation, ADA, leave and benefits, breach of contract, violation of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and wage and hour. She practices in both Washington and Oregon's state and federal trial and appellate courts, and in arbitrations before American Arbitration Association, and Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services. Ms. Turner also has experience representing clients before federal and state agencies including the National Labors Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, Department of Health, Washington's Labor and Industries, Washington's Human Rights Commission, Employee Security Department, Seattle Office of Civil Rights, Oregon's Bureau of Labor and Industries, and other state and local administrative agencies. She earned her bachelor's degree from University of California, San Diego and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from New England School of Law. Ms. Turner is a member of American, Washington State and King County bar associations; Oregon State Bar; Washington Defense Trial Lawyers; and Defense Research Institute. She is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon and Massachusetts; U.S. District courts, Washington, Eastern and Western districts; U.S. District Court, Oregon; U.S. District Courts, District of Massachusetts; and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Michael J. Miles
is a partner at Brown & Connery, LLP. He concentrates his practice in complex civil litigation, including the litigation and trial of all manner of business, employment and civil rights disputes. Mr. Miles has experience defending complex contract disputes, banking and financial fraud actions, restrictive covenant and trade secrets actions, business torts and breaches of fiduciary duty, disputes between members of closely held corporations, professional malpractice actions, consumer fraud actions, and shareholder derivative actions. He has also defended employers in all manner of employment disputes, including claims under Title VII, Section 1981, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, NJLAD, NJCEPA and common law in state and federal courts, as well as before the EEOC and NJ Division on Civil Rights. Mr. Miles has also served as local counsel for numerous intellectual property, patent infringement, consumer fraud, breach of contract, franchise, and employment cases. In addition to his litigation practice, he has counseled employers with respect to their obligations under FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, OWBA, wage & hour laws, and WARN for plant closing and mass layoffs, as well as compliance with state employment laws. Mr. Miles has also guided employers in conducting disciplinary actions, terminations, and reductions in force. He has experience drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks, and providing workplace training sessions on harassment and discrimination. He has also assisted employers in obtaining H-1B and L-1 Visas, as well as permanent residency status for foreign employees. Mr. Miles earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Joseph's University and his J.D. degree, with honors, in 2005 from Rutgers University School of Law.
