Gene Rossi
has been a white collar defense counsel at Carlton Fields, P.A. for the last 8 years, where he is a shareholder and located in Washington, D.C. With nearly three decades of criminal and civil litigation experience at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Mr. Rossi leverages the skills he honed as a federal prosecutor to concentrate on matters related to white collar criminal defense and government investigations. In his DOJ career, he had a prolific 110 trials, including ninety jury. His has several achievements and awards, but his most special is when the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Alexandria set aside a special building conference area in his honor called the “Gene Rossi War Room” for his many trials. His courtroom achievements have earned him numerous commendations, including the FBI Washington Field Office's Career Achievement Award, the first time the award has ever been presented to a prosecutor. In private practice, he has had several high profile criminal jury trials and clients. In private practice, he is often quoted in articles (e.g., Newsweek, Politico, and LAW360) and has appeared on a multitude of cable and radio shows, including CNN, Court TV, NewsNation, Law & Crime Network, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, MSNBC, ABC News, CBS News, Fox News, PBS News, Hearst TV, China Global Television Network, and Hill TV. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Fairfield University, his J.D. degree from American University Washington College of Law and his LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Rossi is a member of the American Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Connecticut, District of Columbia and Virginia. Mr. Rossi teaches trial advocacy at Harvard Law School and constitutional and criminal procedure law at George Mason University.

Michael D. Dean
is a partner at Withered Burns, LLP in Lafayette, Indiana, a general civil litigation firm. He earned his B.S. degree from Indiana University and J.D. degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, where he received the awards for Academic Achievement and served on the University of Dayton Law Review. Mr. Dean dedicated the first 12 years of practice to criminal litigation as a public defender, prosecutor, and private practitioner. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. Mr. Dean has authored numerous articles published by Criminal Justice Magazine, an American Bar Association publication. He previously was responsible for his own quarterly column titled "Bootcamp Esq." which focused on advice for new criminal practitioners.

Eduardo V. Martinez
is in self-practice with a primary focus in mediation, as well as contractual and business law, which he also teaches. He retired as a Captain from the U.S. Navy after 30 years and still consults on matters of national security. Dr. Martinez is currently on staff at Angelo State University, where he teaches Intelligence and Security Studies. He is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Homeland and National Security Perspectives. Dr. Martinez has written articles involving transportation security and maritime cyberterrorism. He is a former special assistant attorney general for the state of Mississippi, and admitted to all Mississippi state and federal courts, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Military Appeals, U.S. Court of International Trade, and U.S. Supreme Court. Dr. Martinez earned his B.A. degree in government from the University of Texas, his M.A. degree in legal studies from Antioch University, his M.S.S. degree from the U.S. Army War College and his J.D. degree from the Mississippi College School of Law.

Steven B. Vinick
is of counsel with the law firm of Stein Sperling Bennett De Jong Driscoll, P.C., with over 20 years of experience in the fields of personal injury law, medical malpractice, criminal defense, and general civil litigation. Mr. Vinick is a frequent lecturer on numerous topics including civil litigation, automobile claims, depositions, evidence, Medicare and criminal defense. He speaks to many organizations such as the National Business Institute, the Maryland State Bar Association and The Federal Bar Association. Mr. Vinick earned his B.A. degree, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Grant W. Morrison
is a partner with Morrison & Morrison, L.C., located in Taylorsville, where he has focused his practice on criminal defense and domestic relations law for more than 30 years. He has been Rule 8 qualified for death penalty cases and has been involved in a number of high profile criminal defense cases. Mr. Morrison is a skilled trial attorney and has established a solid reputation for cross-examination, particularly in contested child custody cases against recommendations of child custody examiners. He is a member of the Utah State Bar. Mr. Morrison earned his B.S. degree, with honors, from the University of Utah; his M.Ed. degree from the University of Utah; and his J.D. degree from Western State University College of Law.

Travis Sayre
is a dedicated trial attorney at Sayre Law Services, PLLC, based in Parkersburg, West Virginia. His practice centers on criminal defense and civil litigation in West Virginia, as well as veterans' disability claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs. Mr. Sayre earned his B.S. degree in business administration from West Virginia University at Parkersburg and his J.D. degree from West Virginia University College of Law. While at WVU, he was a member of the Marlyn E. Lugar Trial Association and participated in mock trials. With extensive trial experience, he has successfully handled a wide range of cases, from simple misdemeanors to serious felonies, including murder and sex offenses. He has further honed his skills through professional certificates and training in trial skills from esteemed institutions such as the National Criminal Defense College, The Trial Lawyers College, and the NACDL's Forensic Science College at Cardozo Law School. Mr. Sayre serves on the West Virginia State Bar Criminal Law Committee, the NACDL's AI Task Force Committee, and the NACDL's Fourth Amendment Committee. He is admitted to practice law in West Virginia.
