Casey S. Erick
is a partner with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and a member of the labor and employment practice. He focuses on commercial litigation and employment law. Mr. Erick has represented clients in both litigation and transactional matters that span across commercial law, labor and employment, real estate, consumer protection, and general litigation; including, but not limited to breach of contract, corporate trade secret theft, tortious interference, defamation, personal injury, fraud, and various other kinds of civil litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association, and is board-certified in civil trial law. Mr. Erick earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. degree from Baylor School of Law.

Matthew S. Feldman
is a partner at Feldman Kieffer, where he principally serves health care entities and professionals in a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. He represents private business and not-for-profit entities in matters including healthcare audit defense, corporate formations and governance, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance involving HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback laws, as well as employment and professional liability issues. Mr. Feldman also advises employers on employment policies and restrictive covenants, represents clients in labor arbitrations, and defends discrimination claims before administrative agencies. In addition, he has experience handling corporate transactions, tax matters, and debtor/creditor issues, and he maintains foreign language proficiency in Arabic and Spanish to support a diverse client base. Mr. Feldman is admitted to practice in New York State Courts, as well as the U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. He received his education from the University of Rochester, Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.

Al Anthony Mercado
is a partner at Feldman Kieffer, where he focuses his practice on medical, podiatric, and dental professional liability, general liability, and insurance coverage matters. Mr. Mercado has over 30 years of experience litigating complex malpractice cases throughout New York State, including extensive trial work and appellate advocacy before New York’s appellate courts. He has represented healthcare professionals in proceedings before the New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Office of Professional Discipline, and has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, having managed and participated in nearly 200 arbitrations and mediations. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Mercado advises healthcare professionals, insurance carriers, and corporations on contracts, risk management strategies, and regulatory matters, and has contributed to the development of insurance purchasing groups in collaboration with the New York State Department of Financial Services. He is also a national speaker and published author on medical-legal and risk management topics. Mr. Mercado is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Mercado received his education from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Hofstra University School of Law.

Henry Norwood
is an attorney with Kaufman Dolowich LLP and concentrates his practice in ERISA litigation and compliance, general liability, commercial litigation, employment law, and managed care. He represents clients in a wide range of managed care health litigation and compliance, including hospital liability defense, nursing home defense, commercial health disputes, HIPAA, and healthcare organizational issues. Mr. Norwood provides pro bono legal representation to refugees fleeing persecution and seeking asylum in the United States. He is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts, Florida and California. Mr. Norwood earned his B.A. degree from University of Maine and his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.

Scott T. Heller
is a partner at Dughi, Hewit & Domalewski, PC. He is a certified civil trial attorney who has successfully defended many doctors, nurses, other healthcare providers and hospitals. Mr. Heller earned his B.A. degree from Susquehanna University and his J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. He has published and lectured for health care providers and attorneys and is a member of the New Jersey and Morris County bar associations. Mr. Heller is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

Carly F. McAllister
serves as associate general counsel at Dakota Wealth Management, where she advises on legal, compliance, and governance matters within a regulated financial services environment. She partners with senior leadership to support disciplined decision-making and to help ensure the firm's operations align with evolving legal and regulatory expectations. Ms. McAllister began her legal career clerking at Florida's Fourth District Court of Appeal, where she gained firsthand exposure to judicial analysis. Before joining Dakota, she worked in private practice handling complex commercial matters through resolution, developing a reputation for disciplined judgment under pressure and a practical approach to managing risk. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude, graduating early, and served as an editor on law review. She received her Bachelor of Arts in history, magna cum laude. In addition to her role at Dakota, Ms. McAllister is an active educator and writer in the legal field. She regularly presents to attorneys, staff, and law students on strategy, ethics, and emerging legal issues, and has authored both scholarly and practical legal publications focused on translating complex legal concepts into clear, real-world guidance. Ms. McAllister is admitted to practice law in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle districts of Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, swimming, reading, and yoga.
