Speaker bio
Mark Stignani
is a partner in the Minneapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. He is the chair of the firm's data analytics practice group, and applies his intellectual curiosity, technical and research savvy, and penchant for innovation to create a broad spectrum of analytics and strategic review of clients' corporate transactions, reorganizations, and intellectual property endeavors. Mr. Stignani earned his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law while working for Alliant Techsystems. He previously had completed postgraduate work in robotics and control systems at the University of Minnesota and National Technological University, while working at Honeywell, Inc. Further, Mr. Stignani is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He offers his insights through dozens of webinars annually, and serves as a regular lecturer at colleges and universities across the state of Minnesota. Mr. Stignani also is a frequent speaker for various associations and conferences, including Reel Lawyer, Black Hills IP Analytics Series, LES International and Practicing Law Institute.

Seth Gardenswartz
is a partner with Blackgarden Law. He began his career in his family's sporting goods business, an 80-year multi-generational enterprise that ultimately expanded from Colorado to New Mexico and Texas. When the business was sold in 1995, Mr. Gardenswartz brought his experience and passion for technology and marketing to the practice of law. During law school, he wrote for SMU Law's International Journal and his paper, The Risk of Loss in Electronic Transactions, was published in the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. Mr. Gardenswartz graduated, cum laude, from SMU Law School. His specialties include trademarks, craft breweries, contracts, payment systems, e-commerce, digital media and general business management. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Gardenswartz is co-developer of a tech-flex office building in downtown Albuquerque and co-owner of Surefi, an ad-tech company that combines proximity marketing with media targeting for mid-sized and regional brands in the craft beverage industry. He has represented and advised entrepreneurs on branding-related legal issues for over 15 years.

Tony Arias
is an associate with the Denver office of Holland & Hart LLP, where he helps clients navigate complex and rapidly evolving laws and regulations, deploying industry best practices across AI, privacy, security, consumer finance, and risk management issues. He holds CIPP/US, CIPM, and AIGP certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. With clients ranging from nimble startups to prominent Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Arias provides counsel on U.S. and international privacy, security, and fintech regulatory compliance and contractual matters. As corporate counsel and data privacy officer for a fintech company, he gained valuable experience providing SaaS solutions to top-tier financial institutions. In this role, Mr. Arias negotiated and executed complex, high-value transactions and improved the business’s data management and privacy compliance. He also brings private practice experience representing clients in consumer finance regulatory compliance matters, complex commercial lawsuits, and federal and state government investigations. Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Arias is deeply involved with his community, serving as a mentor and adopting leadership roles in various professional and civic organizations. He has been instrumental in establishing and distributing scholarship funds for deserving individuals, championing equity in education, and contributing to increased visibility for local artists. Mr. Arias earned his B.A. degree from University of Evansville and his J.D. degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Victoria J. Cvitanovic
is an attorney with Rudick Law Group, PLLC. She represents established businesses, insurance carriers, professional practitioners, and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Ms. Cvitanovic's practice focuses on general liability and personal injury defense, medical malpractice defense, and appellate litigation. She earned her B.A. degree from Mississippi State University and her J.D. degree from Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. Ms. Cvitanovic is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the LA Center for Law and Civic Education.
