Speaker bio
Mary E. Niemira
has practiced family law for over 25 years. She focuses her practice in divorce, complex asset and custody cases, modifications and enforcement of existing judgments, orders of protection and related appellate practice. Ms. Niemira is of counsel at Carmody MacDonald P.C. and was a partner at her previous firm, where she had practiced since 1993. She has been named on The Best Lawyers in America list for family law since 2018. Ms. Niemira has co-authored CLE materials for state and local CLE programming over the years, as well as the article "Domestic Tort Claims in the Context of Divorce" published in ABA Family Advocate in Fall 2016. She earned her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1992. During law school, Ms. Niemira was inducted into the Order of the Coif national academic honor society, and she was awarded American Jurisprudence honors for achieving the highest grade in three law school courses. After graduation, she served the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District as a clerk to the Honorable Stanley Grimm.

Kirk C. Stange
is a founding partner of Stange Law Firm, PC, a multi-state family law firm with offices in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Indiana, Iowa, Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Through his dedication to clients and their family law matters, he has earned numerous honors, including being named a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Honoree for Family Law from 2015 to present (the final published Super Lawyers list represents no more than 5% of attorneys in each state). He has also been recognized by Missouri Lawyers Media on The POWER List Top 30 for Family Law since 2020, was named to the Top 100 Power List in 2025, and received the Law Firm Leader Award in 2026. Mr. Stange is an author with Thomson Reuters (Aspatore Publishing), contributing to Strategies for Military Family Law: Leading Lawyers on Navigating Family Law in the Armed Forces (Inside the Minds) and Strategies for Illinois Family Law: Leading Lawyers on Leveraging Alternative Dispute Resolution, Negotiating Alimony and Child Support, and Managing Client Expectations (Inside the Minds), and is the author of the full-length book Prenuptial Agreements Line by Line. He is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

David C. Fisher
is a sole practitioner in the Tulsa area, where he practices in the areas of mediation, collaborative law, family law and estate planning. He is a leader and recognized authority in the area of dispute resolution, where he brings an extensive background of problem solving with more than 17 years of real life experience as an insurance adjuster, trainer, speaker and now lawyer. Mr. Fisher is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section and Estate Planning Section; Tulsa County Bar Association Family Law Section; American Bar Association Family Law Section and Real Property Estate Planning Section; Oklahoma Academy of Collaborative Professionals; as well as the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. He is also included on the Tulsa County District Courts list of mediators. Mr. Fisher earned his B.S. degree from Oklahoma State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
