Estate Planning Practice Reimagined - Challenges, Changes, and What Comes Next
The Great Wealth Transfer is upon us, and demographic pressure demands that attorneys take the lead in navigating high-stakes transitions. Hear how practice thought leaders are leading the change: from innovating transfer tactics to leveraging the ways AI is re-shaping legal practice. Join us as we reimagine the modern trusts and estates practice.
-
The AI-Native Estate Planner Part 1: Shaping Context, Clarifying Goals, Improving Workflows
See how leading trusts and estates practitioners leverage AI tools to refine their planning approaches and build efficiencies into legal and client workflows.
-
The AI-Native Estate Planner Part 2: Drafting Estate Planning Documents
This session puts trust language under pressure. Using AI tools of their choice, practitioners work with actual draft provisions - some expertly constructed, some deliberately flawed - and identify failure points, propose redlines, and defend their choices.
-
Advising Clients With Early Dementia Diagnosis: What Would You Do?
Working with aging clients presents a slew of satellite (and often urgent) challenges: verifying and documenting capacity, planning for care, delegating decision-making while preserving autonomy, spousal rights, and more. Get practical guidance on proactive and emergency legal tactics to help clients get care while maintaining maximum autonomy.
-
The Fiduciary Frontier: The Status of Crypto, Digital Assets, and the Obligations That Follow Them
Digital assets are now a common (and often the largest) portion of estate inventories, creating fiduciary duties that no one has fully mapped, and generating litigation in jurisdictions wholly unprepared to handle them. This session does not treat crypto as a curiosity. It treats it as a structural challenge to the practice.
