Jenni S. Tynes
is of counsel with the Virginia Beach office of Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. She brings more than a decade of legal experience in various family law areas. Ms. Tynes' practice is focused on all areas of family law, including separation agreements, equitable distribution, custody, visitation, child and spousal support, retirement orders, and post-divorce matters. She interned for the Henrico, Virginia Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and the Division of Child Support Enforcement for the Virginia Office of the Attorney General. Prior to joining Kaufman & Canoles, Ms. Tynes practiced family law in Northern Virginia for seven years. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and Virginia Beach Bar Association. Ms. Tynes received her B.A. degree from University of Virginia and J.D. degree from University of Richmond School of Law.

Jennifer McCammon
is a shareholder of Bean, Kinney & Korman, P.C., representing clients in matters of separation and divorce. She is well-versed in all areas of the practice of family law but has particular interest in the valuation of businesses and other property, the division of complex financial assets, and the tax consequences associated with the separation and divorce process. While Ms. McCammon’s approach is to resolve matters whenever possible, she is not afraid of the courtroom. She regularly appears before the courts in Northern Virginia and has prevailed in arguments before the Virginia Court of Appeals. Ms. McCammon has been recognized by all the major publications as a leader in family law matters. The Washingtonian has listed her as a Top Lawyer since 2016. Ms. McCammon has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America since 2018. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers consistently since 2013 and acknowledged by Virginia Business as part of the Legal Elite. Ms. McCammon has also been recognized by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys as a 10 Best Under 40 in the area of Family Law for Client Satisfaction and by the American Society of Legal Advocates as a Top 40 Family Lawyer Under 40. She earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and her J.D. degree from University of Virginia School of Law.

Hon. Jeanette A. Irby
is a retired Circuit Court Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. She is currently managing director of Juridical Solutions PLC, where she mediates family law disputes which are most suited to alternative dispute resolution. Judge Irby is experienced in all areas of civil litigation, including complex business disputes, divorce (equitable distribution, spousal support and custody), and personal injury claims. Before going on the bench, she practiced law with her primary focus on domestic relations. Judge Irby earned her B.S. degree from Central Michigan University and her J.D. degree from Thomas W. Cooley Law School.

Tashina M. Gorgone
is a partner with Maddox & Gerock, P.C. in Falls Church, Virginia. She focuses her practice in the areas of family law and appellate litigation. Ms. Gorgone handles all areas of family law, from custody to child support to property distribution. She has handled cases involving allegations of domestic violence, substance abuse, and sexual abuse. Ms. Gorgone has successfully litigated relocation cases as well as assisted both mothers and fathers in obtaining shared or primary custody of their children. She strives to help families develop and effectuate a plan that will not only address their immediate needs, but provide them with peace of mind for the future. Ms. Gorgone is adept at determining what cases are ripe for alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation or settlement conferences. However, when a case must be tried in court, she is able to effectively and comprehensively prepare and deliver strong oral advocacy on behalf of her client and their family. Ms. Gorgone earned her B. A. degree from The University of Mary Washington and her J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law, with a concentration in litigation. While attending George Mason, she was an active member of the Moot Court Team, where she won first place in the Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition. Ms. Gorgone also served as a notes editor on the George Mason Law Review and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Association. She is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Gorgone is an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and Fairfax County Bar Association, and serves on the Board for the Northern Virginia Women's Attorney Association. In 2024, she was named by Super Lawyers as a Virginia Super Lawyer in the practice area of family law, and she has remained a Super Lawyer each year since.

John Whitbeck
is the founder and majority shareholder with WhitbeckBeglis, PLLC in Leesburg, Virginia. He focuses his practice on family law, criminal law, mental health law, civil litigation and many other areas. Mr. Whitbeck has also been certified as an expert witness in litigation. He is an adjunct professor of law at George Mason University Law School, teaching mental illness law. Mr. Whitbeck is the director of the George Mason University Law and Mental Illness Clinic. He has served as substitute judge in Virginia district courts, hearing civil and criminal matters including family law cases. Mr. Whitbeck also served as a special justice for civil commitment hearings in the 20th Judicial Circuit, which requires him to sit as a judge for hearings to commit mentally ill individuals to psychiatric treatment. He has also served as a special prosecutor in the Loudoun County General District Courts. Mr. Whitbeck earned his A.B. degree from Occidental College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from George Mason University-Antonin Scalia Law School.

David R. Clarke
is principal at Blankingship & Keith, P.C. He enjoys a reputation as an experienced and highly principled divorce lawyer. Mr. Clarke has over 40 years experience in the area of family law. His practice includes representing clients in routine matters as well as divorce cases involving complex marital estates, custody and support. Mr. Clarke's clients over the years have included owners of closely held businesses, CEO's and other professionals. Shunning the bombastic and confrontational style of some practitioners, he is best known for bringing a steadying influence to what is very often a highly charged emotional environment. Fully appreciative of the costs and uncertainties of litigation, Mr. Clarke believes that before resorting to the courts his clients are well served by first attempting to reach an accord. However, when settlement is not attainable, clients may rely on his skills as an experienced litigator and his familiarity with state court divorce proceedings. Mr. Clarke earned his B.A. degree from Hampden-Sydney College and J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law.

is counsel with Boies Schiller Flexner LLP. She is a dedicated advocate whose practice encompasses all aspects of family law litigation, including divorce, equitable distribution of assets, spousal and child support determinations and modifications, and child custody and visitation matters. Her practice also includes appellate advocacy. Ms. Spain is devoted to helping her clients navigate family law matters. She works closely with clients to understand their goals and to ensure that they are well informed and engaged in every phase of the case. Ms. Spain routinely negotiates successful settlements in family law disputes, prioritizing discretion and privacy while working to resolve matters efficiently and outside of court whenever possible.
