John V. Martine
is an attorney in Alabama with over 17 years' experience serving both English and Spanish speaking clients. His practice includes personal injury, family law, immigration, federal criminal and Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Mr. Martine was an international student, Universidad Complutense, Madrid, Spain. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, University of Wisconsin; his Masters of Business Administration in Management Info Systems, Southern New Hampshire University; and his Juris Doctor degree, Birmingham School of Law. Mr. Martine is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Supreme Court of Alabama, Federal Court Northern District of Alabama and is an executive officer for immigration review.

Lance R. Thomason
is an experienced trial attorney from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, with a practice focused on helping non-citizens that find themselves facing criminal charges. As a private practitioner since 2011, he has represented numerous clients across a wide range of legal matters, including civil and criminal litigation in municipal, state, and federal court. With a strong background in civil litigation, coupled with over a decade of criminal practice experience, Mr. Thomason is uniquely positioned to bring a comprehensive and practical approach to advocacy in the area of law becoming known as "Crimmigration". Prior to being admitted to practice before the Executive Office for Immigration Review in 2025, Mr. Thomason earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, magna cum laude, from the University of North Alabama, where he graduated as the top student in the Entrepreneurship program. His undergraduate achievements include membership in Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society and numerous academic honors recognizing his high academic performance. Mr. Thomason earned his Juris Doctor degree from Appalachian School of Law, where he graduated in the top 20% of his class. During law school, he demonstrated strong academic and leadership achievements, serving as an associate editor for the Appalachian Natural Resources Law Journal and as a published editor for the Appalachian Journal of Law, where he received the Top Editor Award. He was also an active member of the Moot Court Board and Team, earning recognition in national competitions, including the NCALP Adoption Law Competition and the Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Law Competition. His academic honors include a Merit Scholarship, multiple Dean's List distinctions, and the Book Award for the highest grade in Constitutional Law II.
