Michael J. Progar
is a partner and founding member of Progar Law Group LLC, with more than 40 years of experience in representing the interests of insurance companies, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. As lead counsel, he has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict. Mr. Progar practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, employment law and insurance coverage. He is admitted to practice in the states of Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. Mr. Progar earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from DePaul University College of Law.

Bryant S. Banes
is the managing partner of Neel, Hooper & Banes, P.C., in Houston, Texas. He practices in the areas of labor-management relations; wage and hour litigation, including prevailing wages; alternative dispute resolution and arbitration; and is board-certified in labor and employment law. Mr. Banes litigates all types of civil matters before federal and state courts and boards and has briefed and argued numerous times before U.S. and State Court of Appeals. He has taught as an adjunct professor at both George Mason University and the U.S. Army's Judge Advocate General's School. Mr. Banes earned his B.S. degree from Kansas State University and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University.

Jean E. Novak
is counsel at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky, where she is co-chair of the employer-employee relations practice. She focuses her practice in the areas of employer representation, business services, public and non-profit organizations. In addition to appearing in court, Ms. Novak often represents clients before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, PHRC, NLRB, OSHA, and the wage and hour division. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ms. Novak is a fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, a council member of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) Women in the Law Division, and vice chair of the ACBA Medical Marijuana and Hemp Committee. She is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Pittsburgh, where she teaches Wages, Hours and Benefits in Pitt's Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Law Online. Ms. Novak is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Labor and Employment Section) and the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment Section). She earned her B.S.B.Ad. degree from West Virginia University, her M.S. degree from Carnegie-Mellon University, and her J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Shirin Afsous
is an attorney with Greenberg Traurig, LLP where she is an experienced litigator in the field of commercial litigation. As a proactive professional, she is adept at client interaction and excels at crafting strategic case plans. Her areas of experience span across a vast array of sectors including financial services litigation, labor and employment, government contracts, and commercial disputes. Ms. Afsous proficiency extends beyond the borders of her home state, as she skillfully handles cases across the nation in both state and federal courts. Moreover, she is a frequent participant in administrative proceedings, often providing invaluable assistance to clients embroiled in governmental investigations. As a first chair attorney, she has taken the lead in numerous matters, showcasing her leadership and litigation skills. Ms. Afsous's deep experience encompasses a wide range of legal proceedings, from drafting and research to preparing witnesses for trial. She is skilled at conducting depositions and arguing dispositive motions, proving her versatility in different aspects of litigation. Michael A. Miranda
is a partner with the New York law firm of Miranda Slone Sklarin Verveniotis LLP. He has extensively litigated insurance coverage disputes, and has prevailed in the State Court of Appeals three times on coverage defenses for insurers. Mr. Miranda also litigates on municipal liability and employment discrimination cases. He leads the firm's employment practices counseling group and serves as outside counsel to a number of private companies to deal with their everyday employment issues. Mr. Miranda has often defended private and public employers in disputes ranging from sexual harassment to racial discrimination. He also has experience in defending wage, overtime, uniform, and spread of hours claims pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law. Mr. Miranda is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the relevant federal courts for these jurisdictions. He earned his J.D. degree from New York Law School.

Raymond Nardo
is a sole practitioner with The Law Office of Raymond Nardo in Mineola, New York. He has been retained by employees, employers, unions, and municipalities to represent their interests in claims involving overtime pay, discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower claims, and nearly all other employment claims. Mr. Nardo has won jury verdicts for both employers and employees, and has obtained millions of dollars in settlements, verdicts, and awards for employees. He is also an adjunct professor at SUNY Old Westbury where he teaches labor and employment law, a mediator for the U.S. District courts for the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, and an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and Nassau County District Court. Mr. Nardo practices extensively in federal court, New York state court, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and New York State Division of Human Rights (NYSDHR). He earned his B.A. degree from the College of William & Mary and his J.D. degree from New York University School of Law.
