is a partner with Blackgarden Law. He began his career in his family's sporting goods business, an 80-year multi-generational enterprise that ultimately expanded from Colorado to New Mexico and Texas. When the business was sold in 1995, Mr. Gardenswartz brought his experience and passion for technology and marketing to the practice of law. During law school, he wrote for SMU Law's International Journal and his paper, The Risk of Loss in Electronic Transactions, was published in the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. Mr. Gardenswartz graduated, cum laude, from SMU Law School. His specialties include trademarks, craft breweries, contracts, payment systems, e-commerce, digital media and general business management. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Gardenswartz is co-developer of a tech-flex office building in downtown Albuquerque and co-owner of Surefi, an ad-tech company that combines proximity marketing with media targeting for mid-sized and regional brands in the craft beverage industry. He has represented and advised entrepreneurs on branding-related legal issues for over 15 years.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he has a proven track record of representing high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Shearin's expertise extends to handling complex cases before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). He is adept at counseling clients on compliance with federal and state laws, particularly in areas such as handbook policies, pay practices, and the use of artificial intelligence in employment decisions. Mr. Shearin's meticulous approach to pre-trial litigation and his ability to draft critical employment documents make him a valuable asset to the firm. He advises clients on legal issues related to AI, such as governance structures, privacy laws, risk mitigation, policy formulation, regulatory advice, and responsible AI adoption strategies for organizations at any stage of implementing AI. Mr. West represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, various administrative boards, and federal and state courts in complex matters, including pre-suit investigations, trials, appeals, and post-grant proceedings. He is a registered patent attorney. His practice further includes portfolio strategy, enforcement, licensing, and the drafting and negotiation of royalty and technology-related agreements. Mr. West has been involved with AI in legal practice since before the term became widely used. He advises clients on selecting AI tools, implementation procedures, workforce policies, and the legal and ethical risks associated with generative AI, automated decision-making, and data-driven systems. is a plaintiff-side personal injury attorney at The Champion Firm in Atlanta, Georgia, where he represents catastrophically injured individuals and families in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, and premises liability. In less than two years as a plaintiff's attorney, he has recovered more than $12 million for his clients. Before joining The Champion Firm, Mr. Krasinski spent more than a decade at large defense firms representing corporations and insurance companies in complex litigation across the country. That experience — knowing how the other side thinks and prepares — now informs every case he handles on behalf of injured Georgians. Mr. Krasinski has developed deep expertise in integrating artificial intelligence and workflow automation tools into legal practice management. He uses AI tools daily to streamline his practice, and is passionate about helping other legal professionals do the same. Mr. Krasinski is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a Rifle and Mortar Platoon Leader, an Aide-de-Camp, and an instructor at the U.S. Army's Ranger School. After leaving the Army, he earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court team and inducted into the Order of the Coif.

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
