Mark D. Tolman
is a shareholder and employment and labor practice area co-chairperson in the Salt Lake City office of Parsons Behle & Latimer. He practices employment law and commercial litigation in matters before state and federal courts, Utah Labor Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In addition to his active litigation practice, Mr. Tolman also works with employers to help them develop preventative employment practices and policies, and frequently provides in-house training to managers and non-managers alike. He is also the legal affairs director of the Salt Lake Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (Salt Lake SHRM). Mr. Tolman earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, at Weber State University and his J.D. degree, with honors, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ryan C. Janis
is an attorney and partner with the firm Brassey Crawford, PLLC located in Boise, Idaho. Through his practice he represents a wide variety of clients in all manner of cases and disputes. He has argued before the Supreme Court of Idaho on numerous occasions, and recently got the opportunity to (successfully) argue before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Portland. He has also tried a wide variety of cases all around the state of Idaho and he considers himself, first and foremost, to be a trial lawyer as that is where his passion lies and where he believes the biggest difference can be made through the practice of law.

Lindsey A. Morgan
is an of counsel Attorney in Fennemore's Business Litigation practice group. She represents businesses, business owners, and industry participants in complex disputes, with a practice focused on ownership and control conflicts, commercial litigation, real estate and land related disputes, insurance issues, and outside general counsel support. She regularly handles matters involving fiduciary duties, governance failures, professional liability, insurance coverage, and business breakups. Ms. Morgan is a leader in Fennemore's developing Forest Industry initiative, which helps timberland owners, forest products businesses, and other working forest economy participants protect land value, manage operational risk, and execute transactions across the West. Prior to joining Fennemore, she litigated complex commercial matters in California and Washington and served as outside general counsel for closely held businesses and professionals, advising on litigation risk, governance issues, contracts, and dispute avoidance. Ms. Morgan has extensive experience representing insurers and insureds in insurance coverage litigation and defending real estate brokerages and their employees and agents in civil litigation. That experience informs her approach to risk allocation, dispute prevention, and active litigation strategy. She is admitted to practice in California, Washington, and Idaho. Ms. Morgan is an active member of the Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene, where she serves as co-chair of the grants committee. Through the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers, she is also developing Coeur Foundations, an initiative that helps North Idaho nonprofits build strong legal and governance infrastructure. Ms. Morgan earned her B.A. degree from University of California Los Angeles and her J.D. degree from University of Southern California Gould School of Law.

Sean A. Monson
is a shareholder with Parsons Behle & Latimer, where his practice emphasis is employment counseling and litigation. The firm has offices in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. He is the co-chair of the firm's Labor, Employment, and Immigration Department and represents companies in defending against discrimination, wrongful termination, and unlawful harassment claims throughout the Intermountain West. Mr. Monson is admitted to practice in Utah and is a member of the Utah State Bar. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the University of Michigan.

Julie D. Reading
is a partner in the Employment and Labor practice at Pierson Ferdinand, LLP. She advises business clients on a broad range of employment-related matters, including workplace discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and employment contracts. Ms. Reading also defends employers in employment-related litigation, handling all phases of the process from discovery and motion practice through depositions, oral arguments, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation. She brings over two decades of wide-ranging legal experience to her practice. Before joining Pierson Ferdinand, she represented both union clients in labor matters including arbitrations and unfair labor practice complaints; as well as individual clients in employment litigation at Bennett Hartman, LLP. Prior to that, Ms. Reading advised labor unions on unfair labor practices, collective bargaining agreement violations, and contract negotiations at Tedesco Law Group, where she appeared before agencies including the Oregon Employment Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board. Ms. Reading also brings a distinctive perspective from her years of public service as a neutral in labor matters. She served as an Administrative Law Judge at the Oregon Employment Relations Board, where she adjudicated cases under the Public Employee Collective Bargaining Act, conducted hearings, and issued recommended orders grounded in precedent. Ms. Reading is admitted to practice in Oregon and Idaho. She earned her B.A. degree from Evergreen State College and her J.D. degree from University of Utah (S.J. Quinney) College of Law.

Casey S. Erick
is a partner with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and a member of the Labor and Employment practice. He focuses on commercial litigation and employment law. Mr. Erick has represented clients in both litigation and transactional matters that span across commercial law, labor and employment, real estate, consumer protection, and general litigation; including, but not limited to breach of contract, corporate trade secret theft, tortious interference, defamation, personal injury, fraud, and various other kinds of civil litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association, and is board-certified in civil trial law. Mr. Erick earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. degree from Baylor School of Law.
