Speaker bio
Kerrianne A. Donovan
is a licensed title agent for Pennsylvania and West Virginia for the law firm of Bowles Rice LLP in its Canonsburg, Pennsylvania (Southpointe) office. She has broad experience in the sale and acquisition of real property that involves residential, commercial and industrial properties; new developments; vacant land and subdivisions and like-kind exchanges; including title examination, clearing title, corporate due diligence, closing and settlement. Ms. Donovan specializes in new construction transactions and Pennsylvania property tax analysis, including interim taxes. She routinely handles title insurance for transactions in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and collaborates with national and regional developers, builders and lenders. She is on the Education Commitment for the Pennsylvania Land Title Association. Ms. Donovan earned her associate degree from Douglas School of Business and a certificate in paralegal studies from Boston University-Metropolitan College.

Judy H. Nemeth
is an agency for the Pittsburgh office of Old Republic Title Insurance Company, sharing her years of extensive and varied experience in support of Old Republic agents. She graduated from Penn State University and then started her title career working at a large national title insurance and appraisal management company. Ms. Nemeth was the director of client relations at the time of her departure. Having opened and operated a successful title agency for others, she moved on to establish her own title insurance agency, Timber Lake Recordings, which she owned and operated.

Tammy L. Ribar
is an attorney and director at Houston Harbaugh, P.C. Concentrating her practice on commercial real estate matters, Ms. Ribar has experience in diverse real estate transactions, including ground-up development, zoning and land use, acquisitions and dispositions, financing transactions, title issues, lease negotiation and landlord/tenant disputes. She works with developers, property owners, individuals and entities. Her work is diverse and includes large-scale and complex real estate transactions as well as residential transactions. Ms. Ribar earned her B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. degree from the University of Akron, where she was a member of the Law Review and Trial Team. She is currently a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and Commercial Real Estate Women, and a Council Member of the Real Property Section of ACBA. Ms. Ribar is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Peter L. Kogan
is counsel in the real estate group of the law firm of Reed Smith LLP. He represents clients in all major aspects of transactional real estate law, including property acquisition and disposition, land use and development, leasing and subleasing, and real estate finance and entity structuring. Mr. Kogan's clients have included large global retailers, professional sports franchises, hotel and restaurant developers, major industrial and manufacturing businesses, software and information technology companies, entities engaged in commercial transportation and waste disposal, and owners of retail and other properties. He focuses his practice on complex transactions involving the multi-purpose development and redevelopment of large-scale properties in Western Pennsylvania and elsewhere, which frequently include extensive and innovative arrangements with public and quasi-public agencies for the use of former industrial, commercial and institutional sites. In connection with such transactions, Mr. Kogan has assisted clients in securing public-private financing, and entering into partnership and development agreements governing the use and development of brownfield and grayfield sites. He has lectured extensively on issues of real estate law and commercial development in Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Kogan earned his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Emory University School of Law.
