is a District Court Judge in the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County.

is a Judge for Department II of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County.

John M. Samberg
is a partner with Samberg Law. In more than 40 years of practice, Mr. Samberg has handled a broad range of matters, including commercial, construction, bankruptcy, real estate, creditors’ rights, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. He has litigated in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts across the country and has first-chair jury trial experience in banking, residential construction defect, realtor breach of fiduciary duty, personal injury, and wrongful death matters. He has also handled numerous bench trials, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, binding arbitrations, and mediations involving medical malpractice, real estate transactions and boundary disputes, and commercial and residential construction defect claims. Mr. Samberg holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating and is a member of the bars of California, Nevada, and England and Wales (inactive). Based in Reno, he practices in both California and Nevada. Before entering the practice of law, Mr. Samberg was a licensed private investigator, a background and training that have proven invaluable in his litigation and trial practice. Mr. Samberg earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and graduated, magna cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law. As a Dean’s Scholar, he earned numerous American Jurisprudence Awards and won two national moot court championships. He graduated fourth in his class and was admitted directly into the National Chapter of the Order of Barristers. Mr. Samberg is also a frequent speaker at educational seminars.

Hon. Bita Yeager
was elected to Department I of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County in 2020. She currently handles a civil docket and Mental Health Court, and oversees Civil Commitment Court and Assisted Outpatient Treatment Court.

Hon. Tara D. Clark Newberry
is currently a District Court Judge in Department 21 of the Eighth Judicial District Court. Judge Clark Newberry was elected in the general election and took the District Court Bench on January 4, 2021. Her case assignments consist of both criminal and civil cases.
