is an experienced employment lawyer and counselor with a proven record of leadership in both government and private practice. During his career, he has handled complex litigation matters in state courts and numerous federal district courts, including class and collective actions, as well as administrative investigations before federal and state agencies. Mr. Grayson has represented employers in a wide array of industries across Alabama and the nation. When counseling employers, he aims to understand and fully appreciate the business considerations confronting an employer and works to craft cost-effective solutions that minimize disruptions in the workplace and legal exposure. Though avoiding litigation is typically the aim for employers, Mr. Grayson is an experienced trial lawyer and is prepared to go to bat for his clients when litigation cannot be avoided. After a lengthy career in private practice, he in a leadership position at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where he oversaw litigation in high profile cases arising under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, PWFA, and GINA, including pattern and practice and systemic discrimination cases. Mr. Grayson then elected to return to private practice and now serves as a trusted counselor and advisor for employers navigating burdensome governmental investigations. He earned his B.A. degree from University of Alabama and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School.

She utilizes her 25 years of legal experience in employment law and human resources, along with her accounting background and previous experience as a business owner, to help clients navigate the ever-changing legal landscape of employment law as well as the drafting and implementation of policies related to privacy, data and records retention, immigration, and tax and benefits. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Ms. Harper was General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Human Resources for a staffing agency and national PEO where she had a proven record for leading complex legal and human resources initiatives both internally and externally. She draws upon this firsthand experience to develop strong relationships with PEO and staffing clients and to provide tailored solutions that respond to their unique needs. Ms. Harper frequently speaks at industry conferences, seminars, and webinars and contributes to PEO industry and legal publications. She earned her BS degree from Auburn University and JD degree from Birmingham School of Law.

is an Associate with the Birmingham office of Burr & Forman. She works with a wide variety of employers on a number of employment-related issues. Ms. Hawkins has experience in matters involving claims of discrimination, and harassment, including sexual harassment, and retaliation arising under Title VII, ADA, and ADEA. She also assists in defending clients against class and collective actions alleging various state and federal employment law violations. Additionally, Ms. Hawkins assists employers with the preparation of employee policies, and handbooks, and ensures compliance in the face of multijurisdictional requirements. She also assists employers with reduction in force compliance and execution. Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Ms. Hawkins obtained her J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law and her B.S. degree in psychology from Florida State University. While in law school, she clerked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Birmingham, Alabama, drafting administrative opinions and assisting with judicial case management.

is a shareholder with the Atlanta office of Ogletree Deakins. With years of experience representing employers, she has developed the ability to quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of cases and respond to the needs of clients. Ms. Thomas has represented clients from small businesses to large hospital systems to municipalities and school boards. In representing a wide variety of employers, both public and private, she understands that successful litigation requires prompt communication with clients, efficient time management, and a detail-oriented strategy, in order to save clients time and costs. At Ogletree Deakins, Ms. Thomas focuses her practice on Title VII, Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title IX, Rehabilitation Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act (Titles I, II, and III). In her prior practice, she regularly represented government entities and public officials. Therefore, Ms. Thomas has experience with the various immunities provided to public officials and entities and has successfully defended clients from federal and state constitutional claims, including assisting with a case before the U.S. Supreme Court as a first-year associate. Her experience in employment litigation includes taking multiple depositions, sitting second chair at trial, and drafting numerous motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss. Ms. Thomas earned her B.S. degree in marketing, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama in 2010 and her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2013. Mr. Yeager has more than 20 years of experience in the legal field both as a paralegal and attorney. He has more than eight years with in-house legal departments of large publicly traded corporations, and more than six years of government contracting experience with a major military defense contractor. Mr. Yeager has extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and managing various complexities of contracts. His private practice included general legal services, estate planning, litigation, business consulting, and business formation. Mr. Yeager earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama, with a major in marketing, his Associate of Science degree in paralegal studies from Samford University and his Juris Doctorate degree from the Birmingham School of Law.
