Overview

Learn the Techniques the Greats Use

Weak direct examination buries the most compelling testimony. Missed cross-examination opportunities let adverse witnesses walk away with the jury's ear. And a botched impeachment sequence can unravel weeks of case preparation. This full-day program gives you the practical skills to get witness examination right - from opening question to final redirect. Learn how to structure persuasive direct examinations, deploy proven cross-examination tactics, control evasive and hostile witnesses, execute impeachment sequences with precision, and handle exhibits and objections without hesitation. You'll learn from trial attorneys who have spent decades in the courtroom, through live demonstrations and real-world examples designed to sharpen your instincts and build lasting trial skill. Register today!

  • Learn how to qualify experts, present technical testimony clearly, and defend against opposing cross.
  • Master the constructive and destructive cross-examination tactics experienced litigators rely on.
  • Take control of evasive, argumentative, hostile, and overexplaining witnesses before they take control of the room.
  • Walk through impeachment and rehabilitation step-by-step, with concrete demonstrations.
  • Introduce exhibits with proper foundation and respond to objections with confidence using take-home quick-reference tools.
  • Leave with trial-ready checklists, examination outlines, and a witness prep framework you can use immediately.
  • Stay on the right side of the ethics rules governing witness preparation and questioning tactics.
