Overview
Preserve Victory or Overturn Defeat
The issuance of a judgment is not the end of litigation. It is often the beginning of the most strategic and dangerous phase of the case. From motions to judgment collection, litigators face a minefield of procedural traps and high-stakes decisions after the case concludes. This practical program provides a comprehensive roadmap for post-trial and post-judgment practice. Experienced litigators, appellate counsel, and judgment-enforcement practitioners will share tactical guidance and real-world lessons for protecting the record, defending or attacking verdicts, handling appeals, and collecting judgments efficiently. Register today!
- Identify preservation mistakes that kill strong appeals before they start.
- Understand what each post-trial motion can and cannot do and when each is the right tool.
- Anticipate how standard of review shapes your entire appellate strategy before you write a single word of your brief.
- Never lose collection time to avoidable procedural missteps: learn to register and renew judgments before the window closes.
