Overview
Build Retirement Accounts Into Every Estate Plan (Without the Tax Traps)
Retirement accounts are often the single largest asset in a client's estate, yet they're frequently treated as an afterthought in the planning process: handled with a quick beneficiary form rather than the deliberate drafting they require. Mishandled IRAs and 401(k)s can trigger accelerated income tax, disqualify intended trust structures, and undo months of careful estate planning work. This program gives you a practical, end-to-end framework for incorporating retirement accounts into your clients' estate plans, from choosing the right beneficiary designations to drafting trusts that hold up to IRS scrutiny, including the current rules under the SECURE Act and SECURE 2.0. Walk away with a repeatable approach for retirement account planning you can apply across your practice. Register today!
