is an attorney with The McIntosh Law Firm with over a decade of experience in commercial real estate and government affairs. Prior to his tenure with The McIntosh Law Firm, Mr. Shaheen served as general counsel for a commercial real estate development and management firm. His practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate development, property valuation appeals, corporate law, as well as government & corporate affairs. Mr. Shaheen serves as UNCC Trustee and is chairman of the Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management Committee. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Shaheen has been awarded the Business NC Legal Elite Real Estate (2019-2026). He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Foundation (board member - 2021-2023), NAIOP Charlotte (board member), REBIC (Executive Committee member) and the CRCBR (Legislative Committee). Mr. Shaheen is admitted to practice North Carolina.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
