Overview

A Judges' Panel on What Wins the Room and What Wastes the Court's Time Featuring Judges from Polk and Seminole counties, and Third Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan and Louisiana Second Judicial District Court.

Panelists: Hon. Annette J. Berry, Hon. Jenifer Ward Clason, Hon. Jessica J. Recksiedler and Hon. Scott D. Rosenberg
Moderator: Alex More

Most attorneys walk into a pretrial conference guessing at what the judge actually wants, and guessing wrong can cost you credibility, leverage, and time you cannot get back. The written rules rarely explain what moves things along, what frustrates the court, or how to handle a case once it turns contentious. This program is delivered start to finish as a moderated discussion with a panel of civil court judges: no lecture, just direct answers to the questions the rulebooks do not cover. You will leave with a practical playbook for building credibility with the court and strengthening your position for what comes next. Register today!

  • Understand what governs pretrial conferences and what judges review before you arrive.
  • Get pretrial statements, exhibit lists, and courtroom conduct right the first time.
  • Learn how judges expect contentious issues and difficult cases to be handled at conference.
  • Avoid the missteps that lead to sanctions, denied continuances, and lost momentum.
  • Hear directly from the bench in a full-session panel format: no lecture, just candid discussion.
