Ellen P. Blanchard
is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP. She has extensive experience working with companies managing and protecting the data that is critical to their business, including information governance policies and procedures, data minimization and storage, cybersecurity, privacy and across all phases of discovery and the EDRM model. She has represented clients from a variety of industries in complex commercial litigation and government investigations, including Second Requests, involving securities, antitrust, healthcare, cybersecurity, telecommunications and IP issues. Ms. Blanchard uses her knowledge of the interconnections between legal and technology to work with clients on all phases of the EDRM continuum from records management to trial. She provides strategic advice that balances risk management with practical guidance for the business, particularly in the space of information governance and Artificial Intelligence. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Blanchard served as Director of Discovery and Information Governance at an international telecommunication company where she was responsible for developing the strategic vision for discovery and providing leadership in managing the company's data. She led a team that was responsible for proactively managing electronic and document discovery for active litigation matters, including complex and high-stakes disputes such as mergers, government investigations, cyber investigations and class actions. A recognized thought leader in the industry, Ms. Blanchard regularly speaks on panels and participates in Podcasts on the latest topics in the industry including data minimization, 2nd Requests, and Artificial Intelligence. She earned her B.A degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and her J.D degree from American University.

Elaine Critides
is of senior counsel at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. She has led the design and implementation of enterprise-wide privacy and data governance programs tailored to business strategy and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and the AI Executive Order. Ms. Critides' work includes building privacy-by-design frameworks, conducting data protection impact assessments, and aligning AI practices with ethical, risk-based standards. She helps data-driven organizations manage compliance and mitigate legal exposure across sectors. Ms. Critides has advised on post-merger privacy integration, developed cross-functional training, and led incident response planning under attorney-client privilege. She is passionate about helping businesses of all sizes navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and leverage technology to deliver innovative and secure solutions. Ms. Critides' approach combines legal insight with operational execution, ensuring scalable and sustainable compliance practices. She is certified in AI governance by the IAPP and advises on a broad range of privacy and cybersecurity matters, including: Privacy and security by design Consumer protection / Regulatory product review, Complex legal agreements with customers and vendors, Supply chain, Privacy policies, notices, and consent management, GLBA, CCPA, TCPA, Incident Response and General and Roles-based Training. Nkemakunam L. Obata
is an attorney with Cooper Levenson. She previously worked as law clerk at the Department of Justice and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Collins J. Seitz Jr. of the Delaware Supreme Court. Ms. Obata earned her B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Alabama State University and her J.D. degree from Widener University Delaware Law School. During law school, Ms. Obata served as the student bar association president, DEI chair of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, and co-manager of Internal Affairs in the Transactional Law Honor Society. She was a clinical student in the environmental clinic, where she assists in representing clients seeking to protect the environment in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Ms. Obata was also a clinical student for the Delaware Civil Law Clinic, where she provided legal services to survivors of domestic violence with civil legal problems. She also worked as an admission student worker where she was responsible for recruiting new students. In addition, she received several merit-based scholarships, including Delaware Law's Dean's Select Merit Scholarship, Dean Arthur Weeks Outstanding Student Service Award, the Carl Battle & Leon Williams African American Law scholarship, and Dean's Award for the Advancement of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Ms. Obata was the recipient of the 2024 Alford Excellence Award from the Multicultural Judges & Lawyers Section of the Delaware State Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Delaware.

Jack L. Hobaugh, AIGP, CISSP, FIP, CIPP, CIPT, Jr.
is a shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP. He combines his global software, database and network engineering experience with his legal practice to focus on artificial intelligence governance and law, cybersecurity law and privacy law. Mr. Hobaugh is a certified iapp artificial intelligence governance professional (AIGP) and information privacy professional (FIP/CIPT/CIPP/US/E) plus ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), he uses his extensive inhouse experience as a data protection officer, incident response counsel, and global privacy program compliance counsel to provide legal and cybersecurity guidance to his clients. His work includes GDPR, EU AI ACT, HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, COPPA, PIPEDA, FTC, and state compliance including data protection agreements, business associate agreements and data protection impact assessments. Mr. Hobaugh specializes in guiding start up companies through the AI, privacy, and security compliance maze. A guest lecturer and author of four books on cybersecurity law, he is sought out counsel for startups, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Hobaugh was a software engineer with a focus on international IT consulting and telecom (Europe / Middle East / North West Africa / Brazil), writing his first artificial intelligence program in 1989. In addition to litigating and prosecuting patents, he also served as a patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Hobaugh earned his M.S. degree from John Hopkins University, his J.D. degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his LL.M degrees from Georgetown University Law Center as well as The George Washington University Law School.

Daniel J. Gershman
is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group of Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP (FRB). His legal practice focuses on domestic and cross-border corporate and securities law matters and related tax issues. Mr. Gershman also works closely with FRB's Taxation and Private Client groups, assisting with structuring and compliance matters involving closely held businesses, real estate, and trusts and estates. While in law school, he participated in Hofstra Law's Community and Economic Development Clinic where he assisted in the representation of non-profits, small businesses, and other start-up ventures with issues related to commercial transactions, corporate compliance, corporate finance, employment law, and real estate. In addition to corporate and securities law matters, Mr. Gershman's legal interests include the practice and policy surrounding emerging technologies such as cryptocurrencies, NFTs, artificial intelligence, and data privacy and security. He is admitted in states of New York and Texas, and the District of Columbia. Alexander R. Migliorini
is an associate with Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP in the firm's Corporate, Digital Assets, and Taxation Practice groups. Holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) together with his license to practice law, he has the ability to better assist clients to achieve their business and legal objectives. Before joining FRB, Mr. Migliorini gained valuable experience at The Siegel Law Firm, P.C., and as a law clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey Brown of the Nassau County, New York State Supreme Court. During his time at Hofstra Law, he relaunched the Real Estate Law Association (RELA) where he served as the president. As a business and alumni affairs editor of the Journal of International Business & Law, Mr. Migliorini published a note with the law journal relating to the GDPR's effect on U.S. data privacy laws.
