Jeremy C. Virgil
is a partner with Zeldes, Needle & Cooper, P.C., where he concentrates his practice in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, malpractice and workers' compensation. He also handles employment and commercial litigation. Mr. Virgil earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York in 2001 and 2002; and his J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2005. While at the University of Connecticut, Mr. Virgil received the CALI Award for Excellence in trial practice. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (Membership Committee; Public Service Committee; formerly chair New Lawyers), American Association for Justice (formerly New Lawyer Division Board of Governors), Connecticut Bar Association (Executive Committee, Litigation Section), Fairfield County Bar Association, Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, Connecticut Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association. Mr. Virgil is admitted to practice in Connecticut; New York; U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York; U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York.

Benjamin H. Pomerantz
is a partner at Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP, and a board certified specialist in Workers' Compensation. His practice focuses primarily on personal injury and wrongful death, and serious workers compensation cases; he also manages his firm's hemp and cannabis industry practice group. Mr. Pomerantz has over 15 years of knowledge and practical experience litigating and settling complex workers' compensation claims, as well as any related third-party civil actions. He is the Chair of the Fairfield County Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Committee. Mr. Pomerantz earned his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from American University, Washington College of Law. He is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York.

John D. Maxwell
is a senior partner with Brown, Paindiris & Scott LLP, where he practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense; and personal injury litigation, including medical malpractice and workers' compensation. Mr. Maxwell has been invited to speak on various topics at workers' compensation seminars, and is the co-author of Defending DWI Cases in Connecticut, a highly regarded treatise on the topic of DUI cases published by The Atlantic Law Book Company in 2007. He earned his B.A. degree from UPSALA College and his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Maxwell is admitted to practice before all of Connecticut state courts, U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a longtime appointee to the Criminal Justice Act panel in the District of Connecticut, which is a panel of experienced criminal defense lawyers appointed to represent federal criminal defendants. Mr. Maxwell is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Gregory F. Lisowski
received a B.S. in economics from Rutgers University in 1994 and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, New York and the U.S. District Court of Connecticut. He is a Board Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist and a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified as recognized by the International Commission on Health Care Certification. Over the last 25 years his practice has focused almost exclusively in the area of workers' compensation defense. In 2009, Attorney Lisowski also started MSA Services, LLC, a company that specializes in Medicare set aside submissions, Medicare conditional payment searches and future medical cost projections. Attorney Lisowski is currently a partner at Solimene & Secondo a Connecticut law firm that focuses on the defense of employers in workers' compensation cases, civil litigation and subrogation.
