Michael Pasquinelli

is an attorney at Peterson, Johnson & Murray in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the firm after compiling 17 years of experience in complex litigation in both the private and governmental sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pasquinelli represented clients in personal injury, consumer fraud, breach of contract, corporate transactional, corporate general counsel, commercial real estate, and residential real estate matters; and defended a broad portfolio of civil litigation cases from construction general liability to breach of contract and fiduciary claims. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. degree in economics, and later graduated cum laude from The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly The John Marshall Law School), where he was a member of The John Marshall Law Review. Mr. Pasquinelli is a member of the Illinois State and Chicago bar associations. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Central districts of Illinois.

is an attorney with Peterson, Johnson & Murray. He is an adjunct professor of law at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a member of the American Association of University Professors. Mr. Ketter is a former prosecutor and adjunct professor of criminal procedure at Morton College. He served as a judicial intern to Judge William J. Bauer on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Ketter is the associate editor of the DuPage County Bar Association's Journal, the DCBA Brief and the chair of the Association's Appellate Law Section, and serves on its Board of Directors. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Society of Scholars, and served on the Seventh Circuit Bar Association's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Mr. Ketter has presented for the Institute for Paralegal Education, guest-lectured at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, and co-authored a 2022 presentation on jail litigation for the Illinois Sheriffs' Association Conference for Chief Deputy & Jail Administrators. His scholarship has been published in The University of Toledo Law Review, Wayne State Law Review, Florida Coastal Law Review, The Arizona State Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, UIC John Marshall Law Review, Campbell Law Review, Journal of Illinois Local Government Lawyer's Association, Illinois Bar Journal, and Cleveland State Law Review. Mr. Ketter's publications have been covered by Racism.org: Race, Racism and the Law and cited in the American Law Reports Federal Registry. He earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from DePaul University; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
Are multiple attendee discounts available?
Yes, the more people you bring from your organization, the more you save. After the first registration, each additional attendee receives a special discount off of their total tuition.
When will the OnDemand be available and how long will I have access to the content?
The OnDemand Video will be available to stream within 14 days of live broadcast date. You will have access to the content for 6 months in your account. If you’re a subscriber, you’ll have access to your course recordings until 7 days after the expiration date of the subscription.
