Kabara Korth Praskavich
is a partner in the law firm of Maddox & Gerock, P.C., in Falls Church, Virginia. She has experience working on all types of family law issues and leading clients through custody, support, property/debt division, divorce, modifications, and enforcement actions, and tailors her approach to each specific case. Ms. Praskavich especially enjoys working on cases involving business division and other complex assets, and takes pride in ensuring her clients understand the process and law. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and her J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Praskavich is a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, Fairfax Bar Association and Virginia State Bar.

Erika E. MacCormac
is a partner with the law firm of Winslow McCurry & MacCormac, PLLC, in Midlothian, Virginia. She is the leader of the firm's family law team and practices solely in the area of family law, focusing on divorce, child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, adoption, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Ms. MacCormac understands the myriad of emotional, financial, spiritual, and practical implications and challenges presented by divorce and custody matters. She is equally comfortable in the courtroom trying a case or at settlement table working on a collaborative resolution. In addition, Ms. MacCormac routinely serves as a guardian ad litem for minor children in the context of abuse and neglect proceedings, juvenile delinquency hearings, and contested custody and visitation litigation. She also presents for the National Business Institute on family law matters, and serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Richmond Law School Family Law Clinic Seminar. Ms. MacCormac is a member of the Chesterfield County Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar (family law section). She earned her B.A. degree from Virginia Tech and her J.D. degree (certification of concentration in family law) from the University of Richmond.

Hope C. Hutchinson
is an attorney and owner of Hutchinson Law Center where her practice areas include family law and serving as a guardian ad litem. Ms. Hutchinson is licensed to practice law in Virginia. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar (member, Family Law Section), Young Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Greater Peninsula Women's Association, and the Ninth Circuit Family Law Committee. Ms. Hutchinson earned her B.A. degree from Christopher Newport University and her J.D. degree from Regent University.

Alice N. Ahearn
is a partner in The Geller Law Group's family law practice and the pro bono practice chair. She guides family law clients through one of the most difficult times in their lives to emerge optimistic about the future. Ms. Ahearn excels at solving contentious and complex child custody problems, including relocation cases. She is also adept at resolving divorces with complicated financial issues, including business and stock valuations, the division of marital interest in a business, and spousal support. Ms. Ahearns' clients include professionals, physicians, accountants, bankers, business owners, lawyers, and their spouses. Understanding how emotional divorce and post-divorce issues can be, she helps clients set realistic and achievable goals, both in regard to financial assets and long-term co-parenting arrangements. Ms. Ahearn counsels her clients on how to become financially educated and confident about managing their finances. She is a cum laude graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. Ms. Ahearn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in history and sociology from Tulane University. She is a member of both the District of Columbia Bar Association and Virginia State Bar, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Fairfax County Bar Association, Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia, Virginia Association of Collaborative Professionals (VaCP), Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Association, and University of Richmond School of Law Alumni Association. Alexandra D. Bowen
is the founding partner at Bowen Ten Long & Bal, PC, in the Richmond Metropolitan area where she has concentrated her practice representing families in separation and divorce since 1988. Her practice experience embraces many areas of the law including general civil litigation, family law, landlord tenant matters and evictions, handling residential real estate closings, drafting wills and advising clients on small estate planning. Sandra also has represented small business owners and entrepreneurs with issues and concerns in regard to family law matters. Sandra brings to her practice of law years of financial and business management experience to benefit clients in high asset and income divorce matters. Sandra has handled many high conflict (and low conflict) custody matters involving serious mental health issues and addiction. This experience supports her practice advising business clients and representing all parties in divorce litigation involving complex financial issues. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Metro Richmond Family Law Bar Association and the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association, local bar associations and the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts. She has volunteered extensively with central Virginia Legal Aid and served on local non-profit boards. John Whitbeck
is the founder and majority shareholder with Whitbeck Bennett in Leesburg, Virginia. He focuses his practice on family law, criminal law, mental health law, civil litigation and many other areas. Mr. Whitbeck has also been certified as an expert witness in litigation. He is an adjunct professor of law at George Mason University Law School, teaching mental illness law. Mr. Whitbeck is the director of the George Mason University Law and Mental Illness Clinic. He has served as substitute judge in Virginia district courts, hearing civil and criminal matters including family law cases. Mr. Whitbeck also served as a special justice for civil commitment hearings in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, which requires him to sit as a judge for hearings to committ mentally ill individuals to psychiatric treatment. He has also served as a special prosecutor in the Loudoun County General District courts. Mr. Whitbeck earned his A.B. degree from Occidental College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from George Mason University-Antonin Scalia Law School.

Emily A. Johnson
, CFP, CDFA, ChFC, CLU, is the founder and managing director of Divorce&QDRO, a division of Polaris Capital Advisors, LLC, serving divorcing clients and their attorneys throughout the southeast since 2009. Divorce&QDRO provides financial and tax analysis, litigation support, complex retirement and incentive plan review, QDRO preparation and review, and pension valuation services. Prior to founding Divorce&QDRO, Ms. Johnson worked in financial analysis and private banking roles for companies including Credit Suisse First Boston, UBS Private Client, Merrill Lynch Private Client, and Wachovia Leveraged Finance. She received her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in Plan II Honors, from the University of Texas at Austin, and her M.B.A. degree with a concentration in international finance from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. Ms. Johnson has spoken extensively to legal and financial professional organizations on topics ranging from Complex Retirement Plans in Divorce, Critical Financial Errors in Divorce and The Bag Lady Syndrome.
