Speaker bio
Dominique Price
is of counsel with Scharf Banks Marmor LLC, where he is a seasoned attorney with experience spanning a wide variety of litigation, including commercial, product liability, personal injury, and premises liability. His defense work includes the representation of Fortune 500 pharmaceutical drug and medical device manufacturers in federal court as part of multi-district litigations, as well as high volume defense work in state court related to toxic tort claims. Mr. Price also has significant experience representing corporate clients in transportation related matters. As a former NFL player and NFL agent, Mr. Price also counsels professional and collegiate athletes in matters involving name, image, and likeness, endorsement contracts, and NCAA compliance. He has represented a Billboard charting recording artist in a contract dispute resulting in a dismissal of all claims that was upheld by the Indiana Court of Appeals. Mr. Price earned his B.S. degree in sociology from Northwestern University and his J.D. degree (CALI Award for Excellence in "Evidence" - Merit Scholar) from Howard University School of Law. He is a member of the Black Men Lawyers' Association (Board of Directors) and the Chicago Urban League (IMPACT Leadership Development, 2023 Fellow). Mr. Price is admitted to practice in Illinois and Indiana.
