Speaker bio
T. Kevin Knight
is a partner in the law offices of DSK Law. He is board-certified as a trial lawyer by both The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Over the course of his practice, Mr. Knight has generally focused on personal injury litigation. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Central Florida; and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law.

Louis R. Cohan
founded Cohan Law Group, L.L.C., and has been a trial lawyer for more than 30 years. Mr. Cohan has been litigating business and employment disputes. Mr. Cohan has been recognized for his trial experience by admission into the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has litigated more than $900 million in claims for his clients and recently secured a verdict in excess of $66 million in a fraud case. Mr. Cohan has done work in breach of contract, fraud, injunctive relief, punitive damages, employment, trade secrets, real estate, construction and construction defects, and civil rights litigation. His practice is concentrated on business litigation and employment litigation, as well as civil litigation. Mr. Cohan earned his B.S. degree from the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from Emory School of Law. He has served as chair of the Litigation Section - the largest section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Cohan has also chaired the Small Firm Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Cohan has served on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Bar Association and has chaired the Atlanta Bar Foundation - the charitable arm of the Atlanta Bar Association. He has received awards and recognition for his community and legal work. These awards include Super Lawyer, Legal Elite, Martindale-Hubbell's preeminent AV rating, American Board of Trial Advocates, America's Top 100 Attorneys, and the Celebrating Service Award. For many years, Mr. Cohan has chaired the Legal Run Around 5k road race, raising money for the children of injured and fallen Atlanta Police Department officers.

Robert J. Kasieta
is the founder of Kasieta Legal Group, LLC in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a certified civil pre-trial and trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Kasieta practices in civil litigation, with an emphasis on plaintiff personal injury and employment cases, as well as commercial litigation. He has written and taught extensively in the areas of trial practice, personal injury law and insurance law, and is an instructor of trial practice at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Kasieta is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eleventh circuits, and all Wisconsin courts. He is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Kasieta earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Michigan University; and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.

Kathleen M. Erickson
is a partner with the law firm of O'Neill McFadden & Willett. She focuses her practice on a wide range of civil litigation defense and has extensive experience handling medical malpractice and healthcare defense matters. Ms. Erickson works with her clients through all phases of litigation, including investigation, motion practice, written and oral discovery, and trial. She represents hospitals and individual health care providers before medical review panels, in court and on appeal. Ms. Erickson earned her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and her J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. She is a member of the Lake County Indiana Bar Association.
