Michael J. Progar
is a partner and founding member of Doherty & Progar LLC, with more than 40 years of experience in representing the interests of insurance companies, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. As lead counsel, he has tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict. Mr. Progar practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, employment law and insurance coverage. He is admitted to practice in the states of Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. Mr. Progar earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from DePaul University College of Law.

Bradford Newman
is a partner and chair of the North America trade secrets practice; and leader of the AI and blockchain practice at Baker McKenzie. He is the co-chair of the AI Subcommittee of the Business and Commercial Litigation Section of the ABA. Recognized by the Daily Journal in 2019 as one of the Top 20 AI Attorneys in California, Mr. Newman has been instrumental in proposing federal AI workplace and IP legislation that was turned into a U.S. House of Representatives Discussion Draft Bill in 2018. He advises the world's leading producers of AI technology on a wide range of issues, and has developed AI oversight and corporate governance best practices designed to ensure algorithmic fairness. Mr. Newman serves as an invited speaker on AI legal topics to industry and the nation's leading law schools, and is a frequently cited commentator in the mainstream press. As one of the nation's leading AI legal experts, in October of 2023 he was invited to testify before the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety.

Daniel M. Schiavetta
is of counsel at Russo & Gould LLP, who specializes in nursing home and adult residential facility defense and has wide experience in appellate and insurance coverage litigation. He has prosecuted rescission, declaratory judgment and interpleader actions in state and federal court on behalf of various insurers; and has tried cases involving medical malpractice and premises liability. Mr. Schiavetta gives presentations to nursing homes as to charting and litigation issues and is responsible for two changes in case law. He earned his B.A. degree from State University of New York and his J.D. degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law. Mr. Schiavetta is admitted to New York and New Jersey federal courts, and Second Circuit Court of Appeals and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, New Rochelle Bar Association and Defense Research Institute. His recent book, The Supreme Court for Short Attention Spans, is available on Amazon.

Mark West
is a sole practitioner in San Gabriel, where he practices in plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death, products liability law, medical malpractice, and business civil litigation. He has published several articles and frequently lectures. Mr. West is admitted to practice in the Northern, Central and Southern U.S. District Courts in California; Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; and Supreme Court of the United States. He has also been admitted pro hac vice in the state and U.S. District Court for Nevada and the U.S. District Court for Minnesota. Mr. West is a member of the American and Los Angeles County bar associations, State Bar of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California (past legislative district coordinator), and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He earned his B.S. degree from New Hampshire College (now Southern New Hampshire University) and his J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
