Sescily R. Coney
is the founder and managing attorney with The Coney Law Firm, LLC. Her practice areas include business and nonprofits, sports and entertainment, immigration law, estate planning, will drafting and trust formation, municipal issues, mediation, negotiations, and settlement representation. Ms. Coney earned her B.A. degree from Spelman College and her J.D. degree from Howard University School of Law. She holds an LL.M. degree in taxation from Boston University School of Law and an LL.M. degree in international law and justice from University of New Hampshire School of Law. Ms. Coney is a member of the National Bar Association, Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, American Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, District of Columbia, United States Virgin Islands, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, U.S. District Court of New Jersey, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
