Daren Sarphie
has practiced workers' compensation in Louisiana for 20 years. In 2024, he founded Sarphie Law, L.L.C., to develop a nation-wife focus on federal workers' compensation (FECA) and Veterans' disability, and railroad work injures (FELA) in Louisiana.

Chase T. Villeret
is an attorney with Villeret Law Firm, LLC, where he practices in workers' compensation litigation, longshore and harbor workers' compensation, Social Security disability, and personal injury law. Mr. Villeret is also a skilled advocate who has successfully litigated multiple judge trials and handled complex appeals. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana. Mr. Villeret earned his B.S. degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University; his M.PH. degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Public Health in New Orleans, with a concentration in environmental and occupational health; and his J.D. degree from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center.

Frank J. Torres
is a partner with Blue Williams in the Metairie office, and has been with the firm since 2004. His practice consists primarily of admiralty and maritime, federal and state workers' compensation, and insurance law. Mr. Torres also handles DBA (Defense Based Act) cases. He earned his B.A. degree in political science from Skidmore College and his J.D. degree from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. At Loyola, Mr. Torres was a member of Loyola's Moot Court Staff, and competed as an oralist in Tulane University's National Sports Law Moot Court Competition. In this competition, his team won Best Brief, and received honorable mention as an oralist. Mr. Torres is admitted to practice before all state courts in Louisiana. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Louisiana. Mr. Torres is a member of the National Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.

is a special partner with the law firm of Pugh Accardo LLC. Her practice focuses on the defense of employers and insurance carriers under the Louisiana Workers' Compensation Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act. Ms. Bernstein represents multiple national insurance companies in addition to local companies in Louisiana. She earned her B.A. degree and her M.A. degree from Tulane University, and her J.D. degree from Tulane Law School. Ms. Bernstein is a member of the American, Louisiana and New Orleans bar associations.

Taylor Lombardo Willis
is an attorney in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge offices of McGlinchey Stafford PLLC. She focuses her practice on financial services litigation. Ms. Lombardo Willis represents national banks, lenders, servicers, and others in state and federal court. In particular, she advises clients in claims brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA)/ Regulation Z, and related state laws. In her previous firm Ms. Lombardo Willis served employers, adjusters, individual plaintiffs, and private companies while gaining valuable hands-on experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and presenting arguments in court. She offers a strong knowledge base in maritime law, including several matters under the Longshore Workers' Compensation and Defense Base Act. Ms. Lombardo Willis earned her B.A. degree from Louisiana State University and her J.D. degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She is a member of the AP Tureaud Inn of Court and the New Orleans Bar Association.
