Speaker bio
Evangeline Dhawan-Maloney
is an associate at Robichaud, Schroepfer & Correia, P.A. practicing primarily in the area of immigration. She specializes in removal defense, family-based and humanitarian immigration, citizenship, and much more. Ms. Dhawan-Maloney takes pride in vigorously advocating for her clients in many settings, including the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the Federal District Court. She also has experience helping clients navigate the complex intersection of immigration and criminal or family law. Ms. Dhawan-Maloney earned her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree from the University of St Thomas School of Law. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. Ms. Dhawan-Maloney is admitted to practice law before the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota and Minnesota Supreme Court.

Marcos Ramirez
is a multicultural attorney at Nexum Law PLLC. He provides a deep understanding of Latin America culture to his clients. Mr. Ramirez received his bachelor's degree from the Universidad de los Andes, a Master of Business Administration from the Hamline University School of Business, a J.D. and Master of Law from the Hamline University School of Law, and was a policy fellow at the University of Minnesota School of Public Affairs. A member of the Minnesota state bar, and he is also admitted to practice before the District of Columbia, the federal District courts for the District of Minnesota, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Ramirez is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (a past chair of the Immigration Section), member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
