Anthony V. Cortese
is a sole practitioner for Anthony V. Cortese, Attorney at Law, who has practiced for more than 30 years handling personal injury litigation, longshore claims, workers' compensation and general litigation. Mr. Cortese is a member of The Florida Bar. He also is admitted to the federal courts in the Western District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Florida, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Cortese is a member and Board of Directors of Workers' Injury Law and Advocacy Group. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Pennsylvania Law School; and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Pittsburgh Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review and had an article published. Mr. Cortese also assisted Professor Welsh White at the University of Pittsburgh Law School with a chapter on particular issues in a treatise on evidence.

Glenn S. Sinko
is the co-founder of Sinko Zimmerman, LLC, where he focuses his practice on workers' compensation law; Social Security law; small business; and estate planning, trusts, and probate with an emphasis on the needs of disabled individuals. He is a frequent lecturer for various organizations. Mr. Sinko served as an Allegheny County Bar Association WC Section Council member and recently as its chairman. He earned his B.A. degree from Lehigh University and his J.D. degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Dr. Charles E. Rawlings
is an attorney at Rawlings Law Firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Prior to becoming an attorney, he was actively involved in medical malpractice litigation as a consultant, case reviewer, and expert witness for 25 years. Dr. Rawlings has served as a reviewer for more than 300 cases nationwide and provided both deposition and trial testimony in more than 75 cases. He has acted as a consultant to a number of attorneys and law firms in matters concerning trial preparation. The combination of his many years of experience in the medical field, extensive involvement in malpractice litigation as a consultant and expert witness, his official entry into the legal profession, and his significant litigation experience places Dr. Rawlings in a position to offer a wide range of services to his clients. He is a board-certified neurosurgeon and practiced neurosurgery in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from 1991 until he enrolled in law school. As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Rawlings is acquainted with and highly knowledgeable about cases involving traumatic brain injuries (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), birth accidents with neurological injuries, peripheral nerve injuries (PNI), spinal nerve damages, spine damage, brain tumors, strokes, and a multitude of other neurological conditions and symptoms. He is a member of North Carolina and New Jersey State bar associations, South Carolina Bar, North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, diplomat of the Board of Neurological Surgery, Congress of Neurosurgeons, fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American College of Legal Medicine, Professional Mediation Association, Association for Conflict Resolution, and fellow of the American College Board of Certified Attorneys. Dr. Rawlings earned his M.D. degree from Duke University and his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University.

Kevin W. Washburn
is an attorney with Allen, Summers, Simpson, Lillie & Gresham, PLLC. His legal career has been devoted to the representation of employers in employment related matters. Mr. Washburn represents national and international clients in all areas of employment law with emphasis in the Fair Labor Standards Act (wage and hour), Family Medical Leave Act, workers' compensation defense, Title VII claims defense and affirmative action compliance matters to include corporate representation during Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP) audits and Affirmative Action Plan drafting. He has successfully represented corporate clients in courts across the state of Tennessee, to include the Tennessee Supreme Court and Tennessee Supreme Court Special Workers' Compensation Panel, as well as the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Mr. Washburn also has successfully represented corporate clients before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). He also drafts and revises employee handbooks and personnel policies, and assists corporate clients in compliance issues involving the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) WARN Act and other federal and state labor laws. Mr. Washburn has written several programs for use at various continuing legal education seminars and corporate conventions and has been published by the Club Managers Association of America. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of North Alabama and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis School of Law. Mr. Washburn is a member of the American (member, Labor and Employment Law Section), Tennessee and Memphis bar associations.
