Speaker bio
Amy Amundsen
is the founder and owner of Amundsen Legal Consulting. She has dealt with a variety of highly complex issues, including cases involving extensive business, trusts, and personal assets, along with the delicate issues surrounding child custody matters. She is a diplomate at the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, which has only one hundred family law trial attorneys across the United States. In addition, Ms. Amundsen is a fellow in the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), where she serves on the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee, Legislation and CLE committees and co-chairs the AAML Arbitration Committee. Ms. Amundsen graduated, cum laude, from Dickinson College; and earned her J.D. degree from The University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She is a certified Rule 31 listed family law mediator and trained as a collaborative family lawyer and AAML-certified family law arbitrator. Ms. Amundsen has served as the president of several organizations: Tennessee Bar Association's Family Law Section; Leo Bearman, Sr. American Inn of Court; Memphis Bar Association; president of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Alumni Chapter; Memphis Bar Association Family Law Section; and founder and chair of the TBA Alimony Bench Book from 2002-2022. Ms. Amundsen received the prestigious Justice Joseph W. Henry Award by the Tennessee Bar Association for her article published in its journal; the Judge Jerome Turner Lawyer’s Lawyer Award by the Memphis Bar Association for her professionalism, civility, and courtesy; and the Marian Griffin-Frances Loring Award by the Association of Women Attorneys for her outstanding achievements in the legal profession.

Hon. Jeanette A. Irby
is a retired Circuit Court Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. She is currently managing director of Juridical Solutions PLC, where she mediates family law disputes which are most suited to alternative dispute resolution. Judge Irby is experienced in all areas of civil litigation, including complex business disputes, divorce (equitable distribution, spousal support and custody), and personal injury claims. Before going on the bench, she practiced law with her primary focus on domestic relations. Judge Irby earned her B.S. degree from Central Michigan University and her J.D. degree from Thomas W. Cooley Law School.

Julie C. Dixon
is a shareholder at Dixon & Mosely, P.C. where she practices in the areas of family law, including complex financial components of domestic relations, business matters and estates. She has co-written, taught and researched several articles on family law and domestic relations matters. Ms. Dixon earned her B.S. degree from the Indiana University, Bloomington and her J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.She is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State and Boone County bar associations. Ms. Dixon practices in counties throughout the state of Indiana.
