Speaker bio
Mark D. Kimball
is the founding shareholder of MDK Law, a firm emphasizing corporate, commercial and property law, and consulting in matters involving federal and international taxation. He is admitted to practice in Washington, New York, Texas and Oregon. Mr. Kimball is an adjunct professor of law at Eotvos Lorand and Masaryk Universities in Europe, and has served as a law school guest lecturer at Seattle University School of Law. He is also engaged as an expert witness in superior court cases involving limited liability companies, governance, and other member issues. Mr. Kimball has been admitted to the Second Circuit Bar (New York, Connecticut and Vermont), Fifth Circuit Bar (Texas and Louisiana), and the Oregon State Bar. He earned his J.D. degree and LL.M. (taxation) degree from the University of Washington School of Law, and also holds an LL.M. degree in transnational commercial practice from Europe.

Veronica Turovsky Genin
is an attorney whose practice is focused on all facets of corporate, business, and commercial real estate law. She advises municipalities and represents corporations, individuals, developers, and investors on a wide range of matters with respect to entity formation, asset purchase, mergers and acquisitions, franchise sales, disposition, leasing, and financing of industrial mixed-use, multi-family, office, and retail properties. Ms. Genin graduated from New England Law Boston. While she attended law school, she interned at the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General with the Medicaid Fraud and Control Unit. Ms. Genin earned her B.A. degree in business administration from Boston University.

James F. Freeman, III
is an attorney with Swanson Bernard, LLC where he practices in the areas of construction, land use, church, commercial litigation, business, contract, employment, probate litigation, appellate practice, transportation and corporate law. He is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Claims, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the districts of Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Freeman is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan, Kansas and American bar associations, as well as The Missouri Bar. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
