David W. Lauritzen
is a shareholder with Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson, PC, in Midland. He focuses his practice in the areas of oil and gas litigation, federal and state appeals, commercial litigation and insurance defense, employment defense, estate and trusts fiduciary litigation and qui tam defense. Mr. Lauritzen is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern and Southern districts of Texas; U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico; U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals; U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals; U.S. States Federal Circuit Court of Appeals; and U.S. States Supreme Court. He is an adjunct professor at Midland College. Mr. Lauritzen is a member of State Bar of Texas (Disciplinary Grievance Panel 16-4), State Bar of New Mexico, Midland County Bar Association, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, Texas Bar Foundation, Defense Research Institute, and Texas Association of Defense Counsel. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Yale University and his J.D. degree from University Texas School of Law.

is a litigation attorney at Lewis Gianola PLLC in Morgantown, West Virginia, providing legal counsel and representation to clients for a range of issues and industries. In addition to his work in litigation and appeals, he assists clients with legal matters related to bankruptcy and restructuring, collections, and foreclosure. Mr. Gianola also serves as local counsel, providing valuable knowledge of the West Virginia judicial system to attorneys from other jurisdictions and those they represent. She earned her B.S. degree from Auburn University and her J.D. degree from Birmingham School of Law.
