Heather M. Fuller
is an attorney at Sandberg Phoenix and works in the business litigation practice group. Her practice focuses on creditor's rights, title resolution, mortgage servicing law, and real estate related matters. With over twenty years of foreclosure, eviction, and title insurance experience, Ms. Fuller is proficient in handling all aspects and phases of the default servicing process. She routinely represents lenders, investors, and servicers as they navigate state and federal compliance questions and resolve borrower disputes. Ms. Fuller has extensive experience resolving complex title issues including disputed easements, boundary lines, lien priority, clouds in the chain of title, and title insurance claim coverage matters. She has assisted clients with drafting both commercial and residential loan origination and loan modification documents. Ms. Fuller earned her B.A. degree from Eastern Illinois University and her J.D. degree from St. Louis University. She is licensed in Missouri, Illinois and Kansas, and is a member of The Missouri Bar, Illinois State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Ms. Fuller frequently speaks on topics relating to foreclosure, title defects and title insurance for mortgage servicing and attorney organizations.

Douglas Raney
is a real estate attorney and developer with over a decade of experience structuring and managing deals. He has drafted, negotiated, and analyzed all sorts of legal documents, including purchase agreements, loan documents, commercial leases, operating agreements, and easements. Mr. Raney and his partnerships have bought and sold millions of dollars’ worth of real estate assets and uses this background to advise clients how to structure contracts and partnerships in the most beneficial manner possible, while anticipating and avoiding conflict before it arises to prevent the need for costly litigation. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Raney is admitted to practice in Missouri, Texas and Kansas.

Jay R. Heck
is a real estate lawyer, broker, educator and investor. His experience representing landlords, tenants, purchasers and sellers spans across five decades. Mr. Heck has been the legal negotiator on approximately ten thousand separate transactions, with approximately two billion dollars in transaction volume of nearly every conceivable real estate transaction type. Prior to joining the firm, he was a real estate lawyer for three of the largest NYSE-traded companies, with headquarters located in the Kansas City metropolitan area and for two shopping center developer/operators with multi-state portfolios. In 2019, Mr. Heck negotiated the legal aspects of two 1,000,000+ square foot office leases, believed to be the two largest-ever office space leases in either Kansas or Missouri. He earned his J.D. degree from University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law and his B.S. degree from University of Central Missouri. Mr. Heck is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas.

Ferd E. Niemann
is a real estate investor and business-minded lawyer, as well as a trained financial analyst and an experienced entrepreneur. His experience includes mobile home park investments and turnarounds, retail development and redevelopment, residential investments, and real estate law. In addition to his investments as an operator, Mr. Niemann has invested in storage, apartments, restaurants, medical startups, and a handful of other ventures. Before founding KC Real Estate Law, he practiced law at a top Kansas City firm focusing on economic development incentives, public finance, property tax assessments, redevelopment, land use, and zoning. Prior to law school at UMKC, Mr. Niemann graduated from Rockhurst University with a bachelor's degree in finance and an M.B.A. degree. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas and Colorado.

Ford Miller
leads Oppenheimer Law's Kansas City real estate and transactional practice. He began his legal career as escrow and underwriting counsel at a national title company, laying the foundation for his solutions-oriented approach to closing deals. Mr. Miller later trained at one of Kansas City's top real estate and land use firms, has served as general counsel across multiple industries, and brought his highly successful solo practice to Oppenheimer Law. He is an expert on all aspects of real estate transactions, including funding and acquisition, title and due diligence reviews, regulatory compliance, and business structuring. Mr. Miller's local expertise, industry knowledge, and business-first approach have earned him the trust of Kansas City's real estate community.

Katharine Ross
is an attorney in Oppenheimer Law's Real Estate Group, where she brings a wealth of experience and a client-focused approach to a wide range of commercial real estate matters. She began her legal career at one of the largest and most respected real estate law firms in Kansas City, gaining hands-on experience in every facet of commercial real estate, from acquisitions and leasing to complex litigation. At Oppenheimer Law, her practice includes litigation and deal support, advising homeowner associations, handling commercial lease negotiations, and representing landlords in a variety of disputes and transactions. Ms. Ross earned her law degree from the University of Missouri, where she also distinguished herself as an NCAA Division I All-American swimmer and diver. Her background in competitive athletics instilled in her a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking - qualities she now applies daily in service to her clients and their goals.

Broc Exposito
is a seasoned trial attorney with a proven track record in criminal and civil litigation. He graduated from George Washington Law School in St. Louis and began his career as a prosecutor in Kansas City. Mr. Exposito soon formed a solo criminal defense practice in Kansas City and he quickly rose to prominence with a major trial victory, successfully defending a client against wrongful first-degree murder charges. Mr. Exposito then joined a boutique litigation firm in Kansas City, where he earned experience in the civil litigation issues faced by business and real estate players. At Oppenheimer Law, Mr. Exposito deploys his industry knowledge, litigation experience, and trial victories for his clients, achieving truly outstanding results.

Kevin J. Dunlevy
is a partner in the Minneapolis law firm of Dunlevy Law, P.A., where he practices in real estate and creditors' remedies. He is a real property law specialist certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Mr. Dunlevy is experienced in real estate litigation, transactions, foreclosures, evictions, and other creditors' remedies. He is a frequent presenter at seminars for attorneys, title companies, realtors and lenders, and has written numerous articles and publications for professional and trade groups. Mr. Dunlevy is a member of the Hennepin County, Minnesota State and American bar associations, as well as the State Bar Association of North Dakota and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He co-chairs the Legislative Committee of the Real Property Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and is the past chair of the Title Insurance Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association's Torts and Insurance Practice Section. Mr. Dunlevy recently taught real estate law to lawyers and law students in Ukraine, including real estate and mortgage fraud. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, and his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota.
