Speaker bio
Susan Meisel Levin
served as in-house legal counsel for a local adoption agency, working with hundreds of adoptive and birth parents. She then opened a boutique adoption practice in Miami, Florida. Ms. Meisel Levin is experienced in representing birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoption agencies in matters related to domestic and intercountry adoptions, including associated immigration issues, as well as appeals stemming from the same. She is board certified in adoption law, and is a former chair of the Adoption Law Board Certification Committee. Ms. Meisel Levin provides compassionate and professional representation. Most of her referrals come from colleagues and former clients, as she handles each matter with impeccable attention to detail and keeps her clients fully informed. Ms. Meisel Levin is a life-long learner, and keeps current by attending local and national adoption, dependency, and immigration conferences. She earned her B.A. degree from Florida Atlantic University, her J.D. degree from The University of Florida College of Law, and her LL.M. degree from St Thomas University School of Law.
