Aaron M Burton is an associate at Fairfield & Woods P.C., where he focuses his practice on business, tax and estate planning. Prior to law school, Mr. Burton served in the U.S. Army and National Security Agency as an Arabic linguist and mission manager. While attending law school, he gained valuable experience at the Denver Probate Court and the Internal Revenue Service. After graduating from the University of Denver with a dual-degree in law and taxation, Mr. Burton clerked for Judge Marcelo Kopcow in Colorado’s 19th Judicial District. In 2018, he entered private practice and began representing individuals and corporate clients with respect to real estate and corporate matters, including complex leasing, financing, and purchase and sale transactions. Mr. Burton later joined a boutique law firm, where he combined his knowledge of tax law with his corporate and real estate experience to specialize exclusively on trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation, particularly for clients who hold various business and real estate interests.
