Brian T Bellavia is the managing partner of the Jacksonville office at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., and also has an active practice in the firm's Orlando office. He has extensive experience representing clients in civil litigation with a focus on the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice actions. Mr. Bellavia's experience also includes the representation of other professionals in error and omission claims, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability defense, legal malpractice defense, personal injury, trucking, and product liability cases. He has tried cases, including medical malpractice matters, to defense verdict as lead trial counsel. Mr. Bellavia earned his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University in 1990, where he graduated with honors. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 1993. Mr. Bellavia is licensed to practice law in Florida and New Jersey and is admitted in the state courts of Florida and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He lectures at seminars accredited by the department of insurance. Mr. Bellavia regularly provides in-house seminars to corporate leaders, risk managers, and insurance companies.
