Desiree J Goff is a senior counsel with the intellectual property, entertainment, and commercial litigation practice groups in the law firm of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP. She focuses on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Ms. Goff is a registered practitioner before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and assists clients in navigating the complex patent application process, providing insight in obtaining patents on innovative products and processes. In addition, she counsels businesses on trademark protection at the state and federal level. Ms. Goff has experience with a variety of commercial litigation matters, including employment disputes, non-competition agreements, interference with contracts or business relationships, breach of fiduciary duty cases, disputes over corporate management and control, contract actions, and real estate transactions. Her employment law experience includes administrative proceedings before the EEOC, and numerous trials and mediations representing corporations in state and federal employment law matters involving Title VII, the FLSA, the FMLA, the ADEA and the ADA. Ms. Goff earned her B.A. degree from Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska and her J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law.
